Heavenly Places

1)  Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: The young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.

 

Psalm 91 verse 13

 

Lord Jesus Christ you are the lion of Judah. You are the bright and morning star. There is none likened unto yourself, glorious in majesty, the Lamb of God slain since the foundation of the world. O Lord, blessed Lord, may your Church once more see you in your majesty and glory and give you your rightful place as Lord of all. When each living stone which composes your Church sees the position they can have in you and act upon this what power then becomes available to that believer. 

 
Lord, it is through the indwelling person of the Holy Spirit living through the believer His own life and power which treads upon the lion, the adder and tramples the young lion and the dragon in whatever form they stand against the fulfilment of the Word of God. Lord each part of the Bible is perfect and each promise is there to be fulfilled. The need in these dark and dangerous times when the devil is roaring and standing in defiance of the fulfilment of the Word of God is for those who will stand in the gap. Lord please find those who will say no to self and give their bodies to the Holy Spirit for Him to live His own life through them.  


Then, Lord, you will have those who stand before God as they walk in the heavenly places to prevail with God. Lord please bring others to that place where you have brought me so that you will have an army of intercessors who will go to any lengths to see that the gospel will go to every creature and you will return to Jerusalem as the Messiah of the Jews. This prayer seeks only to bring honour to the name of our God. Amen. 


2)  15 10 12  


For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh. 


Philippians chapter 3 verse 3


Lord Jesus Christ we who are born again can have no confidence in the flesh. We have been crucified with you and our old nature of sin has gone to the cross. O the blood, the precious blood which cleanses from all sin. Lord when we have been cleansed through your blood what rejoicing is ours as your resurrection life becomes our new life.   May we thank you day by day for all that you have done and all you now mean to us. Blessed Jesus thank you that there are great depths available to all who go on with you and receive the Holy Spirit into their lives. 

 
Then Lord we can say we have no confidence in the flesh for living in the Holy Spirit means walking in the divine likeness and growing in the grace and knowledge of God.  Thank you Lord that the Holy Spirit takes us into the deep things of God as when we come to be partakers of the divine nature there comes a relationship where God imparts His divine mind for the comprehension of His love and of the fellowship of His Son. Lord may the Holy Spirit ever take us into the deep things of God as we hunger and thirst after you.  This prayer seeks only to bring honour to our God. Amen. 

3)  24 10 12 

 
Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.
 
Acts of the Apostles chapter 2 verse 13

Lord Jesus Christ may I look into your face and see you as you are for there is no beauty like yours, no love which can compare to that of your own. O how I long to be with you dear Saviour, to be able to spend eternity worshipping you. Lord all creation yearns for your appearing, may it not be long. As I wait dear Lord may I press on to the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.  Lord let there be a new entering in, a new passion to have that new wine. Lord let me drink deeply of the new wine so that multitudes may be satisfied and find satisfaction too. 

  
O the necessity of the new vessel for if anything of the old is left, not put to death, destroyed, there will be a rending, a breaking.  The new wine and the old bottle will not work in harmony. Lord let it be new wine and a new wineskin, then there will be nothing to drop off when you come. Lord let me along with your people be a people who are full of the new wine for each one of us have a new life where the old has gone and is filled with the rivers of living water, the life of the Holy Spirit, living a life which manifests you.  Lord the words of the hymn writer are offered as a sweet smelling savour to you as you are everything to those who love you from the depths of their hearts.


In Thy truth Thou dost direct me
By Thy Spirit through Thy Word;
And Thy grace my need is meeting,
As I trust in Thee, my Lord.
Of Thy fullness Thou art pouring
Thy great love and power on me,
Without measure, full and boundless,
Drawing out my heart to Thee.

This prayer seeks only to bring honour and glory to our God. Amen. 


4)  05 11 12  


God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.


 St John chapter 4 verse 24

Lord Jesus Christ thank you for showing us true worship. Lord you are head of your body the Church and its worship is a heart worship, a longing to be in the presence of God. Thank you, Lord, that you see our hearts and will open our understanding.  What a joy to know Lord that you delight in your people. O that all your people may come to understand that you want them to come to a place of undisturbed rest and peace, an undisturbed position which is only in God. 

 

In the world we shall have tribulation but Lord in you we know what it is to overcome the world because you have overcome the world. Lord only simplicity will bring us there.  The fleshly mind will not bring us there. It is through meekness and gentleness as we are led by the Holy Spirit which brings your body to the place of true worship. This prayer seeks only to bring honour and glory to the name of our God. Amen.  


5)  07 11 12 


Thou wilt shew me the path of life: In thy presence is fulness of joy, At thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.


 Psalm 16 verse 11

Lord God how my heart cries out for a living faith with a deep vision of God. The world cannot produce it. This is the place where we see thee O God and know that when we pray we know that God hears. Lord this is the place where all your people should be. The place of asking God and believing for the answer; the place of no fear but a living faith to come into the presence of God.  


Lord God you are looking for a people you can reveal yourself in; a people you can manifest the life as seen in Jesus Christ.  O to know that the Spirit of God can change our nature. Lord your Word is creative. May your people believe that when they give their lives to the Holy Spirit He will change their whole nature and they become the sons of God. Daily, Lord, as we submit to you may our natures become more like Jesus Himself. This prayer is asked only for the honour and glory of our God. Amen.

6)  12 11 12

 

And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

 

Acts of the Apostles chapter 4 verse 31

Lord Jesus Christ how we who love you need to be like you. In these days when you are not given your rightful place as Lord of all those who do know you need to have the inward confidence and knowledge that we are God’s property which has been bought and paid for by your precious blood. Lord we need to have definiteness about what we say. There are those who say that Jesus died and rose again and yet they may not have salvation. Lord in these days grant an out pouring of the Holy Spirit to bring sinners to a deep conviction of sin so that there will be a definite repentance of sin and a clear knowledge of being born again.

 

Lord may those who know the way of the cross also know the way of resurrection and the victory which shouts in the face of the devil and says, “ Lord, it is done.” Lord in these days of spiritual dearth send a real revival. Lord just as the Holy Spirit changed your disciples on the day of Pentecost may all unbelief that this will not ha ppen again be driven from our minds. We must not say that the Holy Spirit is an influence. Lord we need to realise and accept that He is the personality and power, and presence of the third person of the Trinity. Lord Jesus I long for God to come forth and I believe that He is coming forth. Thank you O God that you are pouring out Your Spirit in the hearts of all flesh and they are crying out before You. Even in countries and amongst people groups which have few who know You Lord God through Jesus Christ the day is at hand and Your promises are being fulfilled. This prayer seeks only to bring honour and glory to the name of our God. Amen.

 

7)  21 01 13

 

For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, And floods upon the dry ground.

 

Isaiah chapter 44 verse 3

Lord Jesus Christ my heart is filled with awe at the magnitude of who you are and what you have done and what you continue to do. No one has love like yours for you the spotless Lamb of God laid down His life for the ungodly so that whosoever will repent of their sin can be reconciled with a holy and righteous God. Yet, Lord, repentance is only the entrance into life, your life as the reconciled sinner becomes a son of God, a partaker of your own resurrection life.

 

Sadly, Lord, that is as far as the majority of those born again unto a new life are prepared to go. There is no hungering or thirsting to seek a life which walks in the heavenly places where you dwell with the Father and the Holy Spirit. This promise contained in the verse in Isaiah where he speaks of pouring water upon him that is thirsty and floods upon the dry ground is one few act upon today.

 

Lord Jesus may there be those who will realise that this is a promise which still applies today for it is the promise of a covenant-keeping God who must ever be true to the covenants which He has made. Lord Jesus please place a thirst within your Church to walk with you in heavenly places and to be prepared to be totally crucified with you in order to reach the highest place in the spiritual life. This prayer seeks only to bring honour and glory to the name of our God. Amen.

8)

 

And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

 

Ephesians chapter 2 verse 6

Lord Jesus Christ all praise, honour, glory, power and blessing are yours by right for you are pre eminent. Lord when you appeared to the disciples after the resurrection it was as the risen Lord. When the Holy Ghost came down He revealed you as the exalted Saviour at the right hand of the Father. Lord in these days how many know what it is to raised up with Christ to that place of power?

 

O Lord to know you as the Glorified Christ and continually walk in the heavenly places. Lord in these days where there is a dearth of unction in ministry may there be those who will seek at any cost to walk in the heavenly places. Lord open the understanding of those who seek to go all the way with yourself that the secret of power is separation from all that is unclean.

 

Lord may there be those who can pray this prayer and ask is my heart pure, are my hands clean.

 

This prayer seeks only to bring honour and glory to the name of our God. Amen.

9)  16 07 15 Prayer 

 

And hath raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 2:6

 

Heavenly Father what a place has been given to those who have brought their guilty conscience to your Son and received a pardon for their sin through His atonement. For it is from the depths of the need for forgiveness that you have provided the boundless stores of grace which has brought repentant sinners into the fullness of your love. A fullness of washing away sin with the cleansing of the heart.

 

A new life, a new purpose of serving the King of kings and Lord of lords. All freely given in the unsearchable riches you have provided in Jesus Christ. For now we can live with Him for He has come to dwell within those who are His. For here He now dwells in those heavenly places where He reigns.

 

Father let there be a return to teaching your Word along these lines so that instead of weak, rudderless Christians there will be Christians who will live the Christian life to the full for they have found that they can live and reign through the Christ who is their life.

 

Father to you be given all the glory for this is asked in the name of Jesus Christ so that you will be glorified in the Son. Amen.    

10)  31 08 15 Prayer

 

  • A personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

 

I have appeared unto thee for this purpose.

Acts of the Apostles 26:16

 

Heavenly Father when we were born again if we are spiritual we will have visions of what Jesus wants us to be. May we realise that what counts is that whatever the vision may be is not to be disobedient by saying this cannot be attained. Father may there be a personal relationship to your Son Jesus Christ and not just to know in a general sense that He has redeemed the world and that the Holy Spirit can make all that Jesus did effective in us.

 

Write in our hearts that it is not a message or a doctrine that we have received but a personal relationship to Jesus Christ. In these days of a Christianity where there is little teaching of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ bring back this teaching. For did not your servant Paul by his life show that he was devoted to a person not to a cause or a doctrine for he lived for nothing else but Jesus Christ. Father this prayer is asked in the name of Jesus Christ and for your glory. Amen.

 

  • Made partakers of the divine nature

    

And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge.

2 Peter 1:5

 

Heavenly Father why has there been a growing shallowness in what is put forward to the world as Christianity?

 

Especially in once vibrant western countries where lives used to be laid on the altar in answer to mission calls. O God where is the fire of the Holy Spirit consuming and compelling men and women to answer His call to be a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto God? For it is in this place of sacrifice that is found the realm of glory and virtue which the world can never know. For here we can feed on your exceeding great and precious promises and made partakers of the divine nature.

 

Heavenly Father lead us by your Spirit to receive this virtue which shall confound the wisdom of this world and bring glory to your name for this is asked in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. Amen.

 

11 09 15  Prayer

 

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

2 Corinthians 5:17

Father these words of Paul are wonderful as they speak of old things passing away and becoming new. This has to be a new life which is received through your Son Jesus Christ. The message of this new life received through repentance of sins and the forgiveness of sins is being made known through your servant George Oyaro. George has sent a report and pictures of the Masai people in Kenya.

 

Father how this report and pictures of the Masai worshipping you speaks to our hearts. Although having little of this world’s goods these dear ones have received the gospel message and in doing so have received a new life, the life of Jesus in their hearts. Father to see the joy on their faces shows what new life in your Son will do when He is received. George says that these Masai now need Bibles to help them grow in their new faith in Jesus.

 

Father please move upon hearts to hear of the need of Bibles for the Masai so that not only will they grow in the faith this shall lead to some becoming Pastors and Bible teachers amongst their own people.

 

Father it is with confidence that this prayer is made for it is asked through your Son Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. Amen.

09 10 15  Prayers

The words of life.

 

And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his word was with power.

St. Luke 4:32

 

Father how your Son Jesus astonished the people who came to hear His teaching. There was no dryness, no barrenness for He spoke the words of life. He brought light upon your Word and made it come alive to the everyday situations of those who were thirsting and hungering for God. Jesus was so different to the religious teachers of the time. For Jesus came as a breath of fresh air in a land which had not heard the Word of God delivered in power for  over four hundred years. The religious teachers had no power for they were so taken up with themselves that the people were neglected, the people were kept spiritually dry and unfed. Father at this moment in time too most of the people are spiritually dry and unfed.

 

This is because those who call themselves Bible teachers are teaching their own ideas which are spiritually bankrupt. They do not have the Holy Spirit within them so there is no virtue, no anointing and no power. Father your honour is a stake whilst the people are unfed for they are not being shown the way to eternal life and not shown the way to find your Son who is life.

 

Father I cry unto you for vessels in whom the Spirit of your Son can speak out the words of life from the Bible. As Jesus word was with power so it shall be again today for this is asked, Father, with assurance that you had already placed this prayer on my heart as this is for your glory. Amen.

 

  • A personal relationship with God

 

And they said unto Moses, speak thou with us and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die.

Exodus 20:19

 

Father grant us love and respect to yourself. Then we will no longer not pay attention to your commands. Grant us that personal relationship with yourself through your Son Jesus Christ. For we need that personal relationship so as to hear the still small voice of His Spirit speaking to our hearts. Why is it that often we are terrified lest God speaks to us?

 

Father that should not be for you want us to have trust in you and call you Abba Father. Why do we seek to hide? It is because what you ask must be done or to say we will not obey. Cause us to want to hear, want to obey for what you ask is in love and to bring us to the end of ourselves so as to be totally dependent upon yourself instead of looking to fellow servants of God. When we become totally dependent there is real delight, deep joy, yet tempered by shame that for so long we have been so long in being prepared to wait to hear that still small voice of the Spirit in our souls.

 

To thee, Father, be the glory which is due to your holy name for this prayer is asked through your Son Jesus Christ our Saviour and our Lord. Amen.

14 03 16  Prayer

 

The Heavenly Vision

 

I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision.

Acts of the Apostles 26:19

 

Father how easy it is to lose the vision when we see ourselves as working for you rather than being wholly abandoned to you so that you can do your work through our empty vessels. For it is when your Son Jesus Christ by His Spirit fills us with Himself that we are His and He is our life. Anything less could lead to spiritual leakage.

 

Each day Father calls for obedience to the heavenly vision and not our own. The heavenly vision being that of always giving our utmost for God’s highest every minute of every day. Father ever keep your heavenly vision before us, the vision of your Son living His life through us in the everyday things of life. For as the life of Jesus is ever flowing through us then the needy are blessed and the fruit of a Christ-filled life shnies out in a godless world where it can be most seen, the ordinary everyday things of life.

 

This prayer is asked Father through your Son Jesus Christ so that the Father shall be glorified in the Son. Amen. 

Prayer 11 07 16

Authority

 

Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour.

Acts of the Apostles 16:18

 

Father in these words of Paul is seen the authority in the name of your Son Jesus Christ. The devil will take all the comfort that is given to him. There is only one way to deal with the devil and that is to cast him out. In these days of lack of understanding in the Bible the authority given to those who are in Christ take the blindness away so that there shall be a mighty display of the power of Jesus Christ.

 

Father where the devil is having an easy time because he is not being cast out may there be those who not just want to be like Jesus Christ may they also be filled with the life of Jesus Christ. As He was in this world so then shall they act in the authority of Jesus Christ over the works of the devil.

 

Father be glorified in your Son Jesus Christ through whose name this is asked and received. Amen.

Prayer 20 03 17 

Spiritual Eyes

 

If thou hadst known.

St. Luke 19:42

 

Father thy Son Jesus had entered into Jerusalem in triumph. The city was stirred yet there was a strange god there, that of the pride of Pharisaism.  In these days too there can be other gods which can rule over those who should be wholly yours.

 

Father bring your people to a realisation of a god looking to distract them from the place where the Spirit of God is looking to lead them. Open our spiritual eyes to see what you want us to be responsible to do especially where we are in danger of closing doors which God wants to open for us.

 

Father may we be so at one with your Son Jesus that we shall not need to ask for guidance, for we shall know your way all the time.

 

For your glory this is asked through the name which you will not deny, that of your Son Jesus Christ. Amen.

Prayer - 07 08 17

​

The Promises of God

 

For all the promises of God in Him are yea and in Him Amen.

2 Corinthians 1:20

​

Heavenly Father may there be a realisation that we must not measure our spiritual capacity by education or by intellect. Instead our capacity in spiritual things is measured by the promises of God. For when it is a question of God’s Almighty Spirit we are never to say ‘I cannot.’

 

We are never to let the limitation of natural ability come in.

 

When we have received the Holy Spirit then God expects the work of the Holy Spirit to be manifested in us. Heavenly Father may this be so in our day for this is asked through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Prayer 26 09 17

 

The Deeper Life

 

Thy life will I give thee for a prey in all places wither thou goest.

Jeremiah 45:5

​

Lord God this is your unshakable secret to whoever trusts you that you will give them their lives. For what does a man want than his life? For life is the essential thing. What a promise you give here Lord for wherever we may go we will come out with our life and nothing can harm us.

 

Even should all blessings go there is something greater that never can go. This is the life that is “hid with Christ in God.” Lord God may all who say they are yours let God take them into union with Yourself and no longer seek after other things.

 

In these days are there still those who are prepared to abandon entirely and let go? For to still say what about this?

 

This means there has not been an abandonment.

 

Lord God seek those who are prepared to say I am willing to be made willing to abandon all my life to God. Amen.

30 October 2017 Prayer

The Blood of Jesus.

 

Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus.

Hebrews 10:19

​

O God ever keep me from bringing personal sympathies into your presence and demanding that you do what I ask. For my approach to you is due entirely to the vicarious identification of the Lord Jesus Christ with sin.

 

For there must be no spiritual stubbornness to hinder intercession. It has to be by identifying myself with God’s interests in others. For it is the realisation that the identification of Jesus with sin means the radical alteration of all my sympathies.

 

This then is total identification as vicarious intercession means that I deliberately substitute God’s interests in others for my natural sympathy with them. 

 

Then shall I be wholly identified with Him. O God this is asked and received through the great intercessor Himself your Son Jesus Christ my Lord.

 

Amen.

06 March Prayer

The Divine in the human.

 

Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. 

2 Corinthians 4:10

​

Heavenly Father enable your people to form habits which shall express what the grace of God has done in them.

 

This is being saved so as to manifest the life of the Son of God in our mortal flesh. How is this shown? It is, Father, the disagreeable things which will show whether or not we manifest the life of the Son of God. For Him to be manifested in our lives, Father, may that which is disagreeable be used to enable there to be an enthusiasm which shall let the life of the Son of God be manifested. Let us say Lord we are delighted to obey thee in whatever the matter may be.

 

Then instantly, Father, there is that expectation that the Son of God will press to the front. He alone, then, will be manifested in our human lives for that shall bring glory to Jesus.

 

Amen.

05 06 18 Discipleship

 

“That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.” St. John 17:21

​

Heavenly Father there are times when there appears to be a solitary way for the disciple of Jesus. Jesus, though, had prayed that His disciples may be one with the Father as He is.

 

Let each disciple help God to answer this prayer by not having some different motive. For in these days discipleship should not be seen as independence from God. The purpose of God, Father, is not just to answer our prayers but to bring us to discern the mind of God. Help us Father for this is asked for your glory through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

 

Amen. 

12 11 18

A fellow worker with God.

 

“And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live?”

Ezekiel 37:3

​

Heavenly Father thou knowest that a sinner can be turned into a saint. A life can be put right with thee as thou hast provided the way.

 

Religious common sense of more Bible reading, devotion and prayer is not thy way.

 

This is the way of working for God instead of being a fellow worker with God.

 

O God in these days may the Holy Spirit reveal what human nature is like apart from thy grace.

 

Then there shall be that complete trust for thy life to be fully manifested in and through those who have given their lives wholly to thee so that thou shalt be glorified through the Lord Jesus Christ.

 

Amen.

18 03 19

Positional Truth

 

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

St. Matthew 11:28

​

Heavenly Father the questions in life are all answered by coming unto thy Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

 

When I came to Jesus my actual life was brought into accordance with my real desires.

 

There was that ceasing from sin as the song of the Lord began.

 

In these days of dearth in the body of Christ restore the preaching and teaching of thy Word which covers what it is to be a son of God and a joint-heir with Christ.

 

For thy Glory alone this is asked.

 

Amen.

29 06 20

Lord save me.

 

“And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.”

St. Matthew 14:29-30

​

Lord Jesus although the wind was strong and the waves high, at first Peter did not see them.

 

He saw you, Lord, and walked on the water. All was well until Peter took his eyes off you. The same is true in the Christian life.

 

Where you are recognised it is none of our business what circumstances you bring us into.

 

Instead of being overwhelmed with whatever the circumstances may be we need to keep recognising you, Jesus, and maintain complete reliance on you. Amen.

Prayer 19 04 21 Spiritual Warfare

 

“(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds)” 2 Corinthians 10:4

O God what a word there is here! Yet is the Church prepared to believe and act on the victory of Jesus on the cross of Calvary?

 

Jesus cried out “it is finished” but the Church acts in unbelief. The strongholds of the devil remain, even in the Church.

 

Stir up O God those who shall believe and act according to your word. Those who have your word in their hands and their hearts.

 

Those who shall speak out your word to the strongholds of the devil both within and outside the Church.

 

This to pull down all strongholds which are barriers in the way of your own plan to reach every creature with the gospel.

 

For your glory this shall be through the glorious victory of your Son the Lord Jesus Christ.
