Lord Jesus Christ all praise, honour, glory, power and blessing are yours for you are Lord. Jesus you are risen, ascended and glorified for death could not hold you. May those who know you as Saviour because their sins have been washed away through your precious blood also know you as Lord. Bless you Jesus that you are still building your Church and the gates of hell have not and will not prevail. Praise you Jesus for the news that Christian television programming in Farsi made you real to an Iranian man, his wife and five friends.
Although this man was brought up in a strict Muslim family and followed up all the practices, he says that he once had a dream of you which seemed real but did not think much about it. Whilst watching television he heard your name and remembered the dream. Eventually Lord this man realised that you were the way for your word declares that you are the way, the truth and the life and that no man comes unto the Father but by you. Jesus, how true is your word in that it does not return void. Although at first the man was afraid to tell anyone of his new faith he continued to find encouragement by watching these television programmes. His wife one day said that she had seen a big change in him and he told her that he had become a follower of Christ. She also turned to you Jesus. The five friends also turned to you.
Although, Lord, they had no Bible or church they formed a group and watched the programmes together, writing down verses of scripture. Lord Jesus may your Church continue to grow amongst the Farsi people and each one have the means to grow in the knowledge and love of yourself. Lord may your servant too have all the means including television and radio to ensure that the ministry you have called him into will take the gospel reaches every creature.
This prayer seeks only to bring honour and glory to the name of our God. Amen.
