Jesus -

there is something about that name!

1)  03 12 12

And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it come into the world.

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

1 John chapter 4 verses 3 and 4

Lord Jesus Christ you are sovereign Lord. In this world of your creation you and you alone are to be given the pre eminence. Praise you Lord Jesus that whosoever confesses that you have come in the flesh and are Lord is born of God. Jesus blessed Jesus may every person in the world have the opportunity of hearing that you shed your blood for their sin and that through repentance of their sin and accepting you as their Saviour they will be saved. Not only saved Lord but receive a new life that of eternal life because they have received your resurrection life.

O that more souls each day will come to know you who to know is life eternal because there is life and power in the risen Christ. Lord the god of this world does his utmost to keep your command to go into all the world and preach the gospel from being fulfilled. Lord look upon those who work in secrecy keeping the masses blinded to who you are and what you have done and for the need for each individual to make their own d ecision on whether they will accept you as Saviour and Lord.

The devil works the works of darkness through the occult, free masonry, the illuminati, the paladin and those above them in order to keep souls from coming to know you. The god of this world knows his time is short for Jesus the word of God declares that “ for this purpose the Son of God was manifested to destroy the works of the devil.” Lord in your mercy give those who have not yet had the chance to hear the gospel the chance to hear by binding the strongman and plundering his goods for there is power through your shed blood to release those held in the chains darkness which if not broken will take them to hell.

Lord Jesus let your light bring into the open all the works of darkness of the occult and secret societies of the devil so that you are given the pre eminence as you alone are worthy to receive glory and honour and power and blessing. This prayer seeks only to bring honour to the name of our God. Amen.

2)  27 02 13

And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

Acts of the Apostles chapter 4 verse 31

O God bring us to the place where once more the Church is in awe of your holiness. That, Lord, you would be acknowledged as Lord of all, God of God and very God of very God. Lord let the Church see you for who you are rather than for someone who will give us our wants. Lord Jesus no one has lived like you pouring out your life continuously for others without a thought of self interest.

Lord let the living stones which make up your Church on earth today realise the holiness of God and in doing so see who you are and that it is you and not them who needs to be seen through them. Lord take from us all that hinders your life flowing through us. Lord not only shake places as in the days of the early Church but shake the Church from being self centred rather than giving you the pre eminence.

O God may our prayer be that there is still power available, let it loose but only for your glory. This prayer seeks only to bring honour and glory to the name of our God. Amen.

3)  11 03 13

But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him.

St Mark chapter 5 verse 6

Lord Jesus Christ what a transformation takes place when you come into the life of the sinner. Behold old things are passed away: all things are made new. Lord the man who saw you afar off was one who no man could tame. His life was one of being destroyed by the power of Satan.

Each life, Lord, which has not been reconciled to God through you is every bit as destroyed as this Gadarene man for it is a life which is dead in trespasses and sins. Lord you are life and without your life we are dead for sin is spiritual death.

Yet, Lord, when our hearts have been opened and we have been convicted of sin and repented of the sin which cuts us off from God we too are able to worship you. Lord may each one who has come to know you see the glorious inheritance that is to be found in you when we press in to your promises and find that all we need in life is to be found in you.

Lord open the eyes of those who have come to know you to see all that you have for them if only they will ask and believe. Lord restore your Church to the place where you are its all sufficiency and you are given the pre eminence.

This prayer seeks only to give the honour and glory to the name of our God. Amen.

4)  20 03 13

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.

St John chapter 1 verse 12

Lord Jesus Christ to receive you is to receive life, eternal life. For those who receive you it is to live and move and have their being centred in you and you are God. Partakers of the divine nature, no longer bound by the snares of Satan. Walking in the light Lord for you lighten our paths.

No longer blinded by the god of this world for those who know you Lord are sons of God and have gained an entrance into the courts where dwells peace and joy and an overflowing abundance of the life which God has for His children. Lord lead us daily along the paths of victory which you have placed before us. That victory won at Calvary.

The victory is now not at a future time for you blessed Lord are Lord now, the pre-eminent Christ. Lord of Lords, ruling from your throne, pavilioned in glory, ruling supreme, seeing all your enemies made your footstool. Arouse your people, Lord, to shout the cry of victory and march on led by the Holy Spirit to tear down the strongholds of Satan until every last soul on earth has heard that you are God and given the chance to repent and accept the pardon you freely offer.

This prayer seeks only to bring honour and glory to the name of our God. Amen.

5)  08 04 13

Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.

Philippians chapter 4 verse 11

Lord Jesus Christ what a word to be content.  Just the opposite to those who do not know you.

To know Jesus that your great purpose is to break in upon a discontented world and make it contented.  Paul in his epistle to Timothy declares that “ Godliness with contentment is great gain.”  Lord when we realise that it is not health or wealth that bring contentment but a new disposition, a new life, that of receiving your own life.  This Lord is a life of godliness, a life totally transformed.

Lord may those who have repented of their sin and been born again into a new life have a clear understanding that their past sins have been forgiven.   Lord, destroy the lies of the devil which seek to disturb  many who call themselves Christian.   Lord may there be the boldness to declare that it is not the externals and ceremonials of religion, Church membership, Church work or humanitarianism which bring godliness and with it contentment.

Lord let the shout be loud and clear that God’s remedy for sin is the precious atoning blood of the Lord Jesus.   Lord let it be seen that it is not doing which brings peace and contentment but what Jesus did on the Cross of Calvary.  What a wonderful God and Saviour we have when we realise Lord that God is satisfied with the work of Jesus.  Then, Lord, the Christian can grow in the knowledge and love of yourself.   There comes Lord a difference as the Christian is content unlike the absence of contentment  in those not born again.

What a Gospel.  What a Saviour.   Out of our bellies flow rivers of living water as moment by moment we have life abundant.   Your life Lord Jesus, life not just to the brim but overflowing, a life of overcoming, a life with a song of victory as it is the life of full salvation which deals with our past sins and brings into our hearts in the person of the Holy Spirit a contented God.

Lord may each Christian know that the contented God dwelling within their hearts gives the benefits of His indwelling presence, those of contentment, restfulness and in this troubled world freedom from needless anxiety.  This prayer seeks only to bring honour to the name of our God.  Amen.

6)  09 04 13

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Romans chapter 8 verse 1

Lord Jesus Christ our hearts are lifted up to you in worship and praise for there is certainty for the believer in you.  Paul is absolutely certain for he was definite in where he stood.

Paul’s faith stood firmly upon the rock which is yourself, Lord Jesus.  Not on the sinking sand of idolatry and superstition which is manifested through most of what goes under the name of Christianity.  Lord there is condemnation for those who walk after the flesh and cling to idolatry and superstition for both are condemned in the Bible.

O Lord  bring a return to the uncontaminated Word of the Bible where you are given your rightful place and your shed blood, the cross, the depravity of man and hell have not been removed.  Lord stir up once more preachers who do not compromise but are bold and stand for that which they have believed that there is no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus.

The Word is clear that it is only those who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit who can be certain of no condemnation.  Lord may there be preachers who are not afraid to be different to modern trends, those whom the power of God is manifested to call for a blood washed, spirit filled people who know their God and serve Him alone separated from the world, the flesh and the devil.

This prayer seeks only to bring honour and glory to the name of our God.  Amen.

7)  But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.

Hebrews chapter 1 verse 8

Lord Jesus Christ all praise, honour, glory, power and blessing is given to you for you are King of kings and Lord of Lord. As far as heaven is above the earth so is your name above all other names for it is at your name blessed Jesus that every knee shall have to bow and every tongue will have to confess that you are Lord to the glory of God the Father.

Lord Jesus you are pre eminent even though few are prepared to acknowledge this because it was you and you alone who as the sinless Lamb of God offered your own blood as the only means of reconciling sinners with a holy and righteous God. Lord Jesus very few at this time of ungodliness see themselves as sinners in need of a saviour. In your mercy and by your grace Lord will you not honour your promise that the gospel should be preached to every creature. Lord, too, the devil is a roaring lion seeking to devour all he can and has done so in deceiving the vast majority who call themselves Christian because they follow another Jesus.

Lord Jesus those who follow another Jesus have removed the need for repentance, the need to be cleansed by your precious blood, the way of the cross and do not accept your deity. Lord Jesus amongst all the present day apostasy continue to build your remnant Church against whom the gates of hell will not prevail for your remnant Church is now the only Church which gives you the pre eminence. This prayer seeks only to bring honour and glory to the name of our God. Amen.

8 ) Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.

2 Corinthians chapter 6 verse 17

Lord Jesus Christ you are Lord, you are holy. Thank you Lord Jesus that you the sinless one were prepared to carry sin in your own body on the cross so that whosoever repents of their sin can be cleansed from sin through your own blood and be born again unto a new life, that of communication with God whereby He becomes the believers Heavenly Father.

Lord Jesus please help those who have come to know you as their Saviour to accept your Lordship for present day Christianity lacks the power of the early Church as recorded in the Acts of the Apostles. Lord this can be attributed to only part following you whilst still following the ways of the world. Lord your Word is clear as it calls for total separation from not only sin but the world and from unclean liberal views like those of higher criticism which do not give you the pre eminence and have destroyed the faith of many who should have been on fire for you to spread the glorious gospel message.

Lord Jesus please show your remnant Church that the secret of power is separation from all that is unclean. Lord Jesus may the seeking after a holy life once more be restored to the teaching of your Church. This prayer seeks only to bring honour and glory to the name of our God. Amen.

9)  26 11 12

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.

1 Peter chapter 1 verse 3

Lord Jesus Christ our hearts are filled with praise and worship. Lord you are alive for evermore having conquered death. Because you live we who have been born again also live and will dwell with you for ever.

Lord may we always know our blessed position that through the sanctification of the Holy Spirit we are brought into the wonderful position of knowing the glory of God. Lord let us keep before us the glory and the joy of having a lively hope.

As we live in this lively hope we do not need to try and make ourselves feel that we are believing but this lively hope is ready and waiting, filled with joy of the expectation of you being all in all to us. This prayer seeks only to bring honour and glory to the name of our God. Amen.

10)  16 12 12

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

2 Timothy chapter 1 verse 7

Lord Jesus Christ you are sovereign Lord, you are the one is pre-eminent. May all who own your name give you your rightful place as Lord of their lives so that you reign over their lives. Lord Jesus please keep all who know you as Saviour and Lord under the shelter of your precious blood for the devil goes about as a roaring lion seeking to devour your people. Lord you know that one of the ways of the devil is to play on the minds of believers to try and create a spirit of fear.

Lord may we always keep before us your word. To know that it is written that perfect love casts out fear is our resting place for Lord you are perfect love and it is in you that we trust. Lord bring your people to seek all the fullness of God and not to live as spiritual paupers. Lord Jesus awake your Church from its slumber and may we grasp that we will never get anywhere except we are in constant pursuit of all the power of God. O Lord to take hold of you and your risen power.

Yes Lord crucified with you but knowing that it is no longer I who lives but you live in me because the Holy Spirit lives in me. Lord may the Holy Spirit ever keep us in constant pursuit of all the power of God. Lord for with the power of God working in and through us as the Holy Spirit has full control then we shall know that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds.

Lord will you not at this time find those through whom the strong holds of Satan will be pulled down and you will be given the pre eminence amongst every kindred, tribe and nation. This prayer seeks only to bring honour, glory and pre-eminence to your holy name Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

11)  17 12 12

But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians chapter 15 verse 57

Lord Jesus Christ you are the victor for you have conquered death and hell and him who had the power of death. Lord you are the risen, ascended and glorified Christ. Your name is higher than any other and at your name every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that you are Lord to the glory of God the Father. Lord you are the Lord.

May all who know you because they have been cleansed through your blood go on to be sanctified and become holy just as you are holy. Lord we are not called to be happy but holy; a people set apart for their God. In the world but not of the world is what your word declares. Lord open the eyes of your people to see you in your glory and power.

May each living stone in your body the Church not just realise their position in you but live in the power of the Holy Spirit the victorious life, a life so filled with the Holy Spirit that it declares to the principalities and powers of darkness that they are defeated and that you reign within the life of t he believer.

This prayer seeks only to bring honour and glory to the name of our God. Amen.

12)  18 12 12

Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.

2 Corinthians chapter 6 verse 17

Lord Jesus Christ there is no one like unto yourself, so lovely, so compassionate. For you loved so much that you laid your life down for the ungodly, you offered your own blood because it was the only acceptable offering for sin. Jesus lovely Jesus may we who love you be ever thankful for all you are and all you have done.

Let our song be one of worship and adoration day by day. May we who love you grow more like you day by day for we are called to be holy. Lord may your resurrection life be our portion as we walk and talk with you and you absorb each fleeting moment. Lord will you at this time call your remnant to be a people wholly separated unto yourself; the Church of the redeemed, a people who are holy, righteous and pure.

Lord there are many who say they are Christians, even priests and ministers who do not know you as they follow another Jesus. Lord Jesus call your Church of the living stones to be shining lights who do not compromise your Word. When it is written in your Word may your people stand on its truths with no compromise like those who follow another Jesus. Lord may your remnant stand firm upon the rock which is yourself even if this means having to walk the way of persecution.

Like yourself and the early Church we are not on earth to be popular but to be the holy people of the holy God in the midst of a corrupt and ungodly world. This prayer seeks only to bring honour and glory to the name of our God. Amen.

13)  19 12 12

For thou art my hope, O Lord God: Thou art my trust from my youth.

Psalm 71 verse 5

Lord Jesus Christ O that you would be seen just as David saw God. The God of hope; the God of peace but above all the God of salvation. In thee Lord Jesus Christ alone can we trust. No one else paid the price for our sin. Jesus you are the only way to God. No one else has offered their own blood to redeem sinners. Sin cuts off every human being from a holy God. Your blood alone as the sinless Son of God could reconcile sinners.

Lord Jesus my heart is heavy when I see the youth of today seeking after anything else but yourself. Lord the god of this world has blinded present day youth to yourself. Lord, is this not the time when you are to be given the pre eminence amongst the youth of all the world. Not Lord like those who follow another Jesus when masses of young people gather to listen to the leader of the false church. Lord you were manifested to destroy the works of the devil. One of these works is to be drawn into the false church.

Jesus, lovely Jesus, you are the rock up on which your Church is built. In your mercy Lord bring a great awakening amongst the youth of the world to come to know you as God, Saviour and Lord. Lord build your Church and call from among it those who will answer the call to train for the ministry which will take the gospel message of yourself to the all the world. This prayer seeks only to bring honour and glory to the name of our God. Amen.

14)

And as He entered into a certain village, there met Him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off.

St Luke chapter 17 verse 12

Lord Jesus Christ what rejoicing is in the hearts of those who no longer stand afar off from God as they have been brought into the holiest of all through your own shed blood.  No one need stand afar off as our sins can be forgiven when we have been brought under the deep conviction of sin by the Holy Spirit and through deep repentance are brought to see that you are the only Savior who can save sinners from sin.

Lord the ten lepers had to stand afar off because society prevented them from mixing with others. Yet Lord this did not prevent you meeting them at the point of their need.  Lord today there are still those who are afar off from you  for they have not heard of a Savior who can save sinners from sin.

There are those too who think they know you yet do not have the certainty within their hearts that their sins are forgiven.  Lord in your mercy may there be a genuine work of grace within sinners to bring them to the foot of your cross so that their lives will be completely changed when their sin not in part but the whole is nailed to the cross and they receive a new life that of your resurrection life.

O what a Savior we have one who becomes everything to us as He takes away the old sinful life and  brings us into His banqueting house where His banner over us is love.  This prayer seeks only too bring honor and glory to the name of our God.  Amen.

15) Prayer 03 January 2013

Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread

St John chapter 6 verse 34

Lord Jesus Christ the people who heard you speak recognized someone who was so different from those who called themselves the representatives of God.  Nothing of the outward demands of the Pharisees and scribes calling for the keeping of that which was not possible to keep.  Lord your life showed the loving heart of God and reached into the inward parts of the heart.

You Lord were the only One who can bring meaning to life for you are Life.  Lord you came to take away the outward observance of the flesh and provide the way for the coming of the Holy Spirit who alone can live a life like  yours through whom He indwells.  Lord Jesus you are the living bread who came down from heaven.

May we ever know this living bread increasingly dwelling within each one of us.  May the Holy Spirit daily replace the old life with His life, so that we receive a greater fullness, a deeper pressing into yourself and we can say not I but Christ lives within me through His Spirit.  What joy, abundant joy, to know a daily transforming to not only receive more of yourself but that through us you reach out to whoever we come into contact.

This prayer seeks only to bring honor to the name of our God.  Amen.

16)  Prayer: 05 March 2014

As soon then as he had said unto them, I am he, they went backward, and fell to the ground.

St John chapter 18 verse 6

Lord Jesus your disciple Judas betrayed you yet you knew what was to take place in the garden of Gethsemane.  The powers of darkness were out to do their worst yet in the divine purposes of the Father you had said “nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.” Lord what gracious submission you showed for it was for the ungodly that God Himself should suffer and die.

Lord when Judas brought with him a band of men and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees you asked them who they were seeking.  When they said Jesus of Nazareth you replied “I am He.”  Their reaction was that they went backward and fell to the ground.  Even though you had the power to resist them you submitted yourself to them so that the scriptures could be fulfilled.

Lord Jesus may your presence be so manifested today wherever your people meet together in your name that signs and wonders will still take place and we will see this as from yourself even should there be those who fall to the ground under your mighty power.

This prayer seeks to bring honor to the name of our God.  Amen.

17) Prayer: 19th. March 2014

At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

St John chapter 14 verse 20

Heavenly Father what assurance your children have through your blessed Son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To know that in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily: to know Father that Christ and yourself are one. O the mystery of godliness that your children are in Christ and Christ is in your children when they come to a realization of their position in Christ.

This great mystery in the way of sanctification, Father, is the glorious manner of our fellowship with Christ. It is by our being in Christ, and having Christ Himself in us by such a close union as that we are one spirit and one flesh with Him which is the privilege to those who are truly sanctified.

Father grant that there will be others to whom the Holy Spirit reveals by His revelation that sanctification likewise as with justification is by faith and has already been obtained by Christ. Even if justification is accepted as by faith may the false teaching that sanctification is through works be exposed as not being according to the Bible. Heavenly Father be all in all.

This prayer seeks only to bring honor to your Holy Name. Amen.

18) Prayer: 16 04 14

I am the light of the world

St John chapter 8 verse 12

Father God in your Son Jesus Christ you have provided the living way to yourself. He is the light which dispels all the darkness when lives come to know you as God. Father the light which is of God shows that all outside of your provision in Christ is empty, unfulfilling and ultimately has only one outcome a life which will never be in communication with God.

Father ideologies where you are excluded are of man. Glory be to you Father for from everlasting to everlasting you are God. From eternity to eternity you have reigned and still reign. Human ideas may have their own agenda’s whilst you have your plan. Father that plan will never fail for this is all in Christ.

Ultimately every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Father all praise is due to yourself as you have not lost control, have never been or every will be defeated and will be all in all. Father this prayer is for your glory alone and asked in the name which is higher than every other that of the Lord Jesus Christ.  Amen.

19) Prayer: 14th. April 2014

The Lord is my shepherd

Psalm 23 verse 1

Lord God the words the Lord is my shepherd are known by many. The words of this Psalm have been used at funerals down the years. They are a source of comfort. Yet Lord how many who knew the words in life did not know you the Lord of Life as their shepherd. Lord Jesus Christ it is in life that you give the opportunity to find you as the only way for sinners to have the weight of sin removed. Lord your blood alone atoned for sin.

When you cried out “it is finished” then all hell trembled and heaven rejoiced. Lord how there is a flippancy today over eternal matters. Few take their opportunity to step off the highway to hell which leads to the flames which can never be quenched. The place where the doomed and the damned live in remorse for ever. In your mercy Lord God may the Holy Spirit open hearts to see that they are far from the fold of the great shepherd of the sheep. Lord God even in these days of great wickedness may your grace still prevail and lost, guilty and condemned already sinners be brought to repentance.

Lord God may sinners still find a Savior in your only begotten Son who bought their pardon through His own blood so that they could be washed and cleansed from all sin through His own blood.

This prayer acknowledges that God is all in all. Amen.

20) Prayer: 18 June 2014

There is none other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved

Acts of the Apostles chapter 4 verse 12

Heavenly Father your servants the apostles were endued with power when the Holy Spirit came to them on the day of Pentecost. Weak and self-centred men were changed into men who were fearless, full of boldness and spoke words of fire which burnt into the sinful hearts of wicked men. The glorious gospel message of salvation in the name of your Son Jesus alone convicted sinners of sin and demanded a response with a cry of what must be done to remove the guilt of sin. Heavenly Father your honor is at stake in these days of universalism denying the need for the repentance of sin as all whoever they are which is every sinner still filled with sin will be given a place in heaven.

Should this be so Lord then your Son Jesus will have died in vain as He as God died for sinners. Lord expose this lie of the devil through universalism as this is his latest lie to sweep sinners the doomed and the damned into hell to be tormented by him in that place of everlasting remorse from which there is no escape. Surely O God you will not allow your honor of having sent Jesus your only begotten Son to die for sinners to be trodden underfoot. It is sufficient to know that your Son Jesus died for sinners, and rose from the dead to abolish death and destroy the works of the devil. O God honor all that Jesus has done and destroy the devil’s stronghold of universalism. O God let your Son Jesus alone be Sovereign and be given pre-eminence as sinners once again will be brought under deep conviction of sin so as to repent and be cleansed from sin through the blood of Jesus.

There will then be no uncertainty as those who come to know Jesus belong to Him. For instead of hearing people saying I hope or trust I will go to heaven lives will be so changed by the new life in Jesus there is no doubt. This is because there is no doubt in those who can say I know whom I have believed.

This prayer is for the glory of God alone. Amen.

21)  Prayer  29 09 14

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds.

2 Corinthians chapter 10 verse 4

Almighty and Everlasting God you have given all that is needed for life through your Son Jesus Christ. He alone obtained salvation for all who will believe. He alone can live the Christian life and will do this through those who abandon their lives wholly to Him. Lord just as Jesus was empowered by the Holy Spirit day by day during His time on earth those who belong to Jesus can only do the same. O God there is a blindness to accept that Jesus is the only one who can live the Christian life and that it is the Holy Spirit who will do this when we are baptized by Him.

Lord cause there to be a thirst for receiving the Holy Spirit by those who have received Jesus and have the foundation of Biblical truths operating in their lives. Yet Lord without the baptism of the Holy Spirit there is no unction or power either in preaching or prayer. Grant Lord the bringing together of Bible knowledge and the Holy Spirit in the lives of those who only have one of either the Bible or the Holy Spirit. Lord today there is emphasis upon one without the other. O God what could you do with reformed Protestants who are sound in the Bible yet lacking the baptism of the Holy Spirit? Almighty God bring the Bible and the Holy Spirit together in each one who belongs to your Son Jesus.

Then Lord what a weapon is within them. A weapon to pull down the strong holds of Satan and his evil spirits wherever he seeks to interfere in human affairs. Even greater Lord to be able to walk those corridors of power and to come before thy throne and be certain that our prayers have been granted. This prayer comes with the assurance that you have heard and answered for this is for your glory alone. Amen.

Prayer: 11 03 15

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God and not of us.

2 Corinthians chapter 4 verse 7

Life, Life, abundant Life for in Christ there is Life for He is Life. Lord how can I thank you enough for you have lifted my feet from the miry clay and set them upon a rock for Christ is my Rock. Once I was dead cut off from you O God. I walked as a living Satan for I was born into his kingdom. By your grace Lord and the cleansing power of your blood my sins which were many have been washed away.

Repentance brought forgiveness and an entry into the kingdom of God. Behold what joy that I am a son of God, a living stone in the body of Christ, His Church of the redeemed, one of the royal priesthood of believers who now worship the Father in spirit and in truth. Lord you are my life in this earthen vessel and all that is now done is by your power to the glory of the Father.

Lord may I ever decrease.

Lord it is you alone who must continually increase. Lord you are my sufficiency so that you can be manifested as a sweet smelling savor as wherever I go, you go. This prayer is so that the Father may be all in all. Amen.

Prayer 16 04 15

I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. (KJV)

St. John 10:9

Jesus you called yourself the door, the way to enter into life for you are Life. Life is a person, the person of none other than yourself, God the Son. Jesus you speak of being saved. In these days of human respectability to speak of the need to be saved is looked upon as being beneath those who consider themselves in need of nothing outside of their own self-centeredness.

To those, though, who have entered through the door of yourself there is found the true meaning of life. Life is yourself for the universe is a person, the person of God. Lord will you still have mercy and open the hearts of sinners to be convicted of sin to the extent that they will see they are sinners who are so desperate to receive forgiveness they will cry out for mercy because they see hell open before them and themselves as doomed to go there unless you cleanse them of their sin. This used to happen when men filled with the Holy Spirit preached in days gone by.

Lord you must do this again through men and women who are wholly yours. Hear O Lord and act so that the Father is glorified in the Son even in these days of rebellion in that which calls itself church and lacks the Life and Fire of God. Amen.

Prayer 01 June 2015

1. I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.

5. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

St. John 15 verses 1 and 5

Father may all who know your Son as Saviour look to grow spiritually. In these two verses there is positional truth, the truth of your Son as the vine, yourself as the husbandman and those who have received Jesus as Saviour as branches in the vine.

May each one come to seek to abide wholly in the vine by submitting to His Lordship. Then the fullness of God will become a living reality as the One who alone is Life thy beloved Son's life will flow daily into and through those who are His.

As a sweet-smelling savour lives will then be worshipping you Father in Spirit and in truth to your glory.

This prayer is asked and the answer received in the name which is above all other names that of your Son the Lord Jesus Christ so that the Father will be glorified in the Son. Amen.

10 07 15 Prayer - Holy Spirit

Clouds and darkness are round about him.

Psalm 97:2

Almighty God how dependent we are upon the light of the Spirit of God in order to understand the teachings of Jesus. Whilst those who are not born of the Spirit of God may think that the teachings of Jesus are simple it is only when we are baptised in the Holy Spirit that we find this not to be so.

How familiar those are who have never been introduced to Jesus Christ. It is when the Holy Spirit shows what He does then will come the impenetrable darkness of realising Who He is. May your people seek the Holy Spirit to show who Jesus is for Jesus said that the words which He spoke ‘they are spirit and they are life.’

O God speak to each one of us through the words of the Bible as the Holy Spirit gives His light to shine through the clouds and darkness to make known the one who is life and light the Lord Jesus Christ. This prayer is asked that in the name of Jesus Christ so that the Father will be glorified in the Son. Amen.

13 07 15 - Prayer - The Holy Spirit

Peter said unto Him, Lord why cannot I follow Thee now?

St. John 13:37

Heavenly Father there are times when we cannot understand why we cannot do what we want to do.

May we learn to trust and never run before we receive your guidance. Where there is doubt may we see that you are not in whatever is upon our minds and wait for Thee to speak to our hearts by your inner witness of confirmation. Father Peter is shown as not waiting upon God. He thought he knew where the test would come only to find the test came in another way. Peter’s declaration that ‘I will lay down my life for Thy sake’ although honest was ignorant.

Peter could not follow Jesus because he did not know himself or what he was capable of doing. May we rely entirely upon the Holy Spirit to show us your way in your time for natural devotion and dependence will never make us disciples of your Son Jesus Christ.

Father may you receive the glory as this is asked in the name above all other names that of your Son our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen.

14 07 15  Prayer - The Holy Spirit

Whither I go, thou canst not follow me now; but thou shalt follow me afterwards.

St. John 13:36

Heavenly Father may we be determined to follow your Son at all times and in all places where He may ask us to go. The daily taking up of our cross and laying down of any selfish thoughts. When Jesus had first called Peter to “Follow me” this had been easy.

At the time of Jesus trial Peter denied Jesus and his heart broke. Peter, though, Father became a new man at Pentecost when he received the Holy Spirit. Then he came to the end of himself and all his self-sufficiency. Father like Peter may your people come to no longer rely on any experiences you have given them or even vows and resolutions they have made. For all these will end in denial for human power is not able to carry these out.

Father may your people come to build only on a Person, the Lord Jesus Christ and on the Spirit which He gives.

Father bring your people to the end of themselves so that they will ask to receive the Holy Spirit, the same Holy Spirit who indwelt your Son whilst He was upon the earth. Jesus then will continue His work through them for the building of thy kingdom.

Grant this prayer Father so that you will receive the glory due to you for it is asked in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen.

20 07 15 - Worship

And he pitched his tent having Bethel on the west and Hai on the east and there he built an altar unto the LORD and called upon the name of the LORD.

Genesis 12:8

Almighty and everlasting God may our worship be the best which you have given to us. Whenever you give us a blessing may we give it back to you as a gift of love. May we learn to meditate on the blessing received and offer this back to you as an act of worship.

May your people come to understand that a blessing received is a blessing to be shared. As Abraham came to know that Bethel was his place of communion with God so in these days of rushing from one thing to another, the days of little depth of understanding of your Word, may the quiet times of worship not be neglected. For from worship will follow waiting upon you O God and from waiting will follow work. Worship, waiting and work O God were always together in the life of Our Lord Jesus.

He was always un-hasting. In these days of hasting and the instant may your people be different from the world and come to know what it is to worship in spirit and in truth. This prayer is offered as a sweet savour through the name of your precious Son Jesus Christ so that the Father will be glorified in the Son. Amen.

23 07 15 - The Holy Spirit

And I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless.

1 Thessalonians 5:23

Heavenly Father help us to understand the deep workings of the Holy Spirit in our personalities. Help us to be brought into the deep things of God where the Holy Spirit can take us to that which our minds cannot understand.

When we read that ‘the blood of Jesus Christ cleanseth us from all sin’ surely Father this means more than conscious experience? For cleansing from sin has to mean the heights and depths of our spirit when we will keep in the light as you, O God, are in the light.

For our expectation is that   the Spirit that fed the life of Jesus will also feed the life of our spirits. Keep us O God by the Holy Spirit so that spirit, soul and body are preserved unspotted in your sight until Jesus comes. Father it is for thy glory alone that this prayer is brought before you in the name of your Son Jesus Christ. Amen.

25 07 15 - The Holy Spirit

Who art Thou, Lord?

Acts of the Apostles 26:15

Father God how the voice of your Son Jesus spoke so clearly to Saul and gained his full attention. Speak clearly in these days O God that which will overwhelm us by showing how so often we have been ignorant of your ways. Destroy all our confidence in our own convictions.

Sweep aside whatever stands in the way of our interfering with your own plan for our lives. Where we have had a zealous determination to serve you our own way then Lord speak to our hearts and show us the error of our ways. Bring us into line with yourself which is that of a meek and quiet spirit, a spirit entirely dependent upon the Holy Spirit. This we will be when He has all of our life.

Then we will delight to do Thy will for Thy will has become our will in perfect harmony with yourself. This prayer is asked in the name which is above all other names that of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen.

27 07 15  The Holy Spirit

And when the day of Pentecost was fully come.

Acts of the Apostles 2:1

Heavenly Father what a day Pentecost proved to be, a day of the coming of the Holy Spirit to take full possession of the one hundred and twenty who had been waiting for His coming. A day of transformation of lives which were often ignorant of your ways and timid and fearing in the face of the onslaught of the devil. What a transformation, though, for there was received a life, a life able to carry on the life of Jesus, a life fearless and bold fulfilling the plan and purposes of God.

What made these first New Testament preachers so mighty under God? It was, O God, the Holy Spirit, your Spirit, the same Spirit who lived within Jesus during His earthly ministry. The devil quaked for he was now confronted by the duplication of the life of Jesus in many lives and is still confronted by those who have also been baptised in the Holy Spirit in these days too.

O God may we too like those baptised with the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost also do as they did and challenge the powers of hell and declare war on the devil. Today we walk where the apostles trod and thank God for permitting us to be their successors.

Use us O God as a mighty army in prayer and preaching to destroy the work of the devil wherever he interferers in you plan for the gospel to go to every creature. For your glory Heavenly Father this is asked through Jesus Christ so that you will be glorified in the Son. Amen.

27 05 15 - Prayer for boldness of the fire of the Holy Spirit.

Nothing shall be impossible unto you.

St. Matthew 17:20

Heavenly Father these words were spoken to His disciples by your Son Jesus Christ. It was unbelief which had prevented them from healing the boy whose father had come to the disciples seeking a cure.  In these days too there is unbelief even among those who call themselves Christians.

Father grant a b oldness in these days, a boldness of the fire of the Holy Spirit in those who have been filled with Him. A boldness which will ask in the humanly impossible. A boldness which will triumph in these days of evil where men and women defy your Word. A boldness which will not be deterred.

For these are men and women for today, filled with the Holy Spirit who know that only one kingdom will stand, the kingdom of their God and His Son Jesus Christ.

For your glory alone is this asked Father in the name above all other names that of your Son our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen.

ALSO

Prayer on pride can get in the way.

And as they led him away, they laid hold upon one Simon, a Cyrenian, coming out of the country, and on him they laid the cross, that he might bear it after Jesus.

St. Luke 23:26

Father God may those who obey you realise that it is going to cost others more than it costs them. For in obeying God then other peoples plans are upset as they question what is done in the name of Christianity.

May there be obedience at all times even in accepting an offer of help from someone else. Pride can get in the way in refusing help. Our Lord gave the example of accepting help when Simon carried His cross. It cost Simon to carry the cross.

May your people accept the example of Jesus instead of suffering the stagnation in spiritual life which comes from looking to bear everything themselves. Father may there be an acceptance to obey God at all times so that He will then look after those who have been affected by our obedience. Let us simply obey and leave all the consequences with you our Father.

This prayer is offered to you, Father, through your Son Jesus Christ so that you will be glorified in the Son. Amen.

Thank you.

Brian

1.Who else has made this claim?

I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore. Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

Revelation 1:18

Heavenly Father what authority there is here as your Son Jesus Christ tells us that he was dead but is alive for evermore. Who else has made this claim? No one could or will ever be able to do so. His triumph at Calvary was the ultimate triumph for He made an open show of the principalities and powers of the devil. He utterly and completely brought victory for the kingdom of God.

The carnal mind with its enmity against God will be destroyed for the destroyer himself, the devil, does not have the keys of hell and death. They are with the Son of God, Himself and for that O God we can rest in perfect peace. O for a heart, a heart made clean through the blood of Jesus. Perfection of heart and life can be ours for the Son of God was not only manifested to destroy the works of the devil, He has destroyed the works of the devil.

May all who have received Jesus Christ walk in newness of life as the love of God who is love reigns supreme in their hearts and lives.  Heavenly Father this prayer is asked through the name which is above all other names, that of your Son Jesus Christ so that you will be glorified in the Son. Amen.

  • Ready and hungry to know more of Him.

When they were alone He expounded all things to His disciples.

St. Mark 4:34

Heavenly Father may we realise that Jesus does not take us alone all the time in order to expound to us what He wants us to know. It is as we are ready and hungry to know more of Him that He will show us more of Himself. May we wait patiently upon the dear Lord Jesus for Him to make us after His own purpose.

Show us Lord where we are ignorant of ourselves. For there may be envy, laziness and pride in our hearts which need to be taken away and by your grace transformed to be more and more like Jesus. Clean hearts, pure hearts, so that with each showing of our need of Jesus we will say Lord help me and make me like yourself. Heavenly Father this prayer is asked in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and for your glory alone. Amen.

  • The compassion of Jesus

And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath day?

St. Luke 13:16

Heavenly Father what a picture we are given here of your love as shown by your Son Jesus Christ in His compassion for this dear woman. A woman who had been bound by Satan for eighteen years. A woman who when Jesus saw her He immediately called her to Him. She in her desperate need was more important to Him than anything else that day. The cold criticism of the ruler of the synagogue that Sabbath meant nothing to Him as the only thing of importance was a woman who had suffered at the hands of Satan.

She did not ask Jesus to help her neither did Jesus ask her for it was sufficient to Him to recognise the work of Satan and destroy Satan’s evil work and set the woman free. What deliverance Father, through your Son. A woman set free from pain, who could now stand up straight and walk once more as she used to before Satan did his evil work and took a hold of her. What a perfect atonement there is through Jesus offering of His own blood.

Victory, victory over all the works of Satan. Healing from sickness and deliverance from demon possession available to all who will believe, who do believe that Jesus did not just come to destroy the works of Satan but did destroy them. Father may there be believing again to ask and expect you to be glorified in our days as this asked through your Son Jesus Christ. Amen.

  • The Christian life is gloriously difficult.

Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.

Revelation 2:4

Heavenly Father you have provided the most satisfying life through your Son Jesus Christ. Yet the Christian life is gloriously difficult. By your grace you have given all that is needed for the Christian life in Jesus Christ. It needs, though, to be worked out by us to overcome the many challenges and difficulties. There are times when we take our eyes off Jesus and see ourselves as having a life which is separate to Himself.

It is then that our love for Him is not what it first was when He had captured our love, every bit of it. May the fire of that first love blaze afresh when we bring our smouldering embers to Jesus for He is waiting to stir us once more to see Him as the lily of the valley and the bright and morning star. The one source of life for He is life. Father to you be the glory for all you have given in your Son for this prayer is asked in His name. Amen.

  • Trusting Jesus

Rise, let us be going; behold, he is at hand that doth betray me.

St. Matthew 26:46

Father when the disciples realised that they had gone to sleep instead of remaining awake this led to despair. It is the same today that there are those who despair and want to give up pressing on into the life which has been given to them in your Son Jesus.

This despair is not exceptional for it is also part of human experience. Where this has happened may there be the courage to let whatever opportunity has been missed be put from our minds and to move on to the next thing whatever this may be. For there is still an irresistible future with Jesus when we come into line with your will. Although the disciples had done wrong Jesus came to them with a spiritual initiative which would lift them from their despair.

This was to rise and move on to the next thing. O God for when are inspired of God then we will trust Jesus absolutely on the basis of His perfect Redemption. For your glory, Father, this prayer is both asked and the answer received through your Son Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. Amen.

  • International. The Masai of Kenya

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

2 Corinthians 5:17

Father these words of Paul are wonderful as they speak of old things passing away and becoming new. This has to be a new life which is received through your Son Jesus Christ. The message of this new life received through repentance of sins and the forgiveness of sins is being made known through your servant George Oyaro. George has sent a report and pictures of the Masai people in Kenya.

Father how this report and pictures of the Masai worshipping you speaks to our hearts. Although having little of this world’s goods these dear ones have received the gospel message and in doing so have received a new life, the life of Jesus in their hearts. Father to see the joy on their faces shows what new life in your Son will do when He is received. George says that these Masai now need Bibles to help them grow in their new faith in Jesus.

Father please move upon hearts to hear of the need of Bibles for the Masai so that not only will they grow in the faith this shall lead to some becoming Pastors and Bible teachers amongst their own people.

Father it is with confidence that this prayer is made for it is asked through your Son Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. Amen.

Prayer - 26 08 15

  • O God turn us back to you.

I remember thee, the kindness of thy youth.

Jeremiah 2:2

Almighty and Everlasting God may your people always be kind to you and not just expecting you to be kind to them. How much kindness has been shown this day towards your Son Jesus Christ? May we be captivated with Him, pouring out our lives as living sacrifices. He first loves us. Is it too great a thing for us to love Him with all our hearts, all our lives? He has need of us in days when there is a lack of love towards God.

O God turn us back to you like you did in the past with your people Israel. Grant in these days of rebellion towards you O God not just love towards Jesus Christ but an extravagance of love for nothing is too small or too great to give Him our love throughout the day.

Whatever we are doing may it be done as unto Himself. Should there be ones whose love towards Jesus is not what it used to be may this produce shame and humiliation to work godly sorrow which will bring repentance.

Through repentance comes restoration and restoration brings the outpouring again of love towards Him who loved us enough to die in our place. For your glory O God this is asked in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. Amen.

  • Prayer which demands, prayer which commands

Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.

Psalm 34:19

Almighty and Everliving God your Word is a supernatural Word for it was birthed in heaven in your throne-room and given to men who were filled with the Holy Spirit. Your Word transcends time and is equal to every circumstance.

Your Word is still a living Word which speaks to the heart rather than the mind. A Word which compels those who are filled with the Holy Spirit and fire to stand against the evil of the day and through preaching and prayer believe that you O God are still at work fulfilling your purposes as the devil is a spent force who has to give way to believing prayer. Prayer which demands, prayer which commands. Prayer which says yes to God and no to the devil.

In the midst of the afflictions which come to those who dare to do exploits for God, who say not only that it shall be done but say it is done then this is in the supernatural for the natural cannot stand in the way. Whatever it be we shall not be moved even when afflictions swamp us for Lord you deliver us in them so that we shall grow stronger in every  affliction. O God may your Holy Name be praised for this prayer is asked in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

28 08 15  Prayer

  • Building hope only on Jesus.

Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God and a saviour; there is none else.

Isaiah 45:22

Almighty and most gracious God your Word says ‘look unto me, and be ye saved.’ In the experience of life it is those moments of trouble which make us look to God rather than your blessings which cause us to look elsewhere.

O God remove all hindrances from our thoughts so that we will see that the very thing we seek we already have when we have the Spirit of your Son dwelling in our hearts. For  through the cleansing blood of Jesus we have been pardoned when we first saw Him as the only Saviour.

O God may all who know that they have been bought with a price that of the blood of your Son, Jesus Christ, build their hope only on Him. In looking to Him alone salvation is ours the moment we look. This prayer is asked through the name above all other names that of your Son Jesus Christ so that Father you shall be glorified in the Son. Amen.

  • The need for revelation from God

God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

St. John 4:24

Father God in these days when there is a seeking after truth may there be revelation that God is a spirit and to worship God has to be in spirit and in truth. In these days there is little acceptance of the need to be born of the Spirit. However these things are not real unless they have been revealed to each one by the Spirit of God. For nothing about God is real unless it has been revealed.

The confidence of this prayer is that the Spirit of God is revealing these truths and that there are still many of my dear brothers and sisters in Christ, especially in Africa and Asia who are both filled by the Spirit of God and recognise the inner witness of the Spirit to guide them in the deep things of the Spirit of God.

Father at this time guide those who are open to hear the leadings of the Holy Spirit to be part of your plan for the ministry which your servant is part of and to become part of your plan to reach the unreached for Jesus. This prayer is asked and the answer received in the name above all other names that of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

  • What a glorious sight.

And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.

Acts of the Apostles 1:9

Heavenly Father what a glorious sight awaited those in heaven on the return of your Son Jesus Christ. The imprint of the nails in His hands and feet. The gaping hole in His side where the spear of the Roman soldier had been driven. Yet those wounds were the visible proof that He had triumphed over death and hell and Satan. He alone had paid the sinner’s debt of sin by offering His own blood.

Now He had taken His humanity back to heaven so that men and women too could go to the place where He had gone. Men and women who had had their sins forgiven. Father what a triumph, what a victory. Your Son at your right hand being worshipped by the whole company of heaven arrayed in spotless garments for they are the bride of Christ.

Heavenly Father be glorified in the Son who has opened the way for the redeemed to come with singing to Zion and you have been glorified in the Son. Amen.

Prayer a man in need

I will come and heal him.

St. Matthew 8:7

Father what gracious words your Son Jesus spoke. There was a man in need who was sick of the palsy and grievously tormented. The man was a servant and his master was a centurion who came to Jesus on behalf of his servant to seek Jesus’ help.

The centurion came to the right man for with Jesus there is no seeking without finding. How glad we are that the Lord Jesus is willing to come and heal those who are sick. Our confidence is still that He loves to heal them of their afflictions. Father wherever there is a reaching out to Jesus in faith today as is still evidenced in countries like Pakistan then He will still be willing to come and heal the sick and deliver the demon possessed.

This prayer is asked in the name of Jesus so that you Father will be glorified through the Son according to your Word. Amen.

29 09 15 Prayers

The days of the supernatural have not ceased.

He hath done all things well.

St. Mark 7:37

Father the multitudes were amazed as day by day they came expectantly to hear your Son Jesus teach about the kingdom of God and to make God known to them as someone they could know. These were days of heaven coming down to earth for Jesus came down to live amongst men. He not only brought the words of life He brought life and He brought health. Time after time hopeless and helpless people came to Him either for themselves or on the behalf of others. How the Jesus of compassion met the needs of all who came to Him.

None went away unhealed or their needs not met. In the case of the death mute the people were amazed that Jesus made the deaf to hear and the dumb to speak. O God this was normal during Jesus ministry for healings were part of His wonderful ministry. Has anything changed?

Where there is expectancy and believing then Jesus will still heal. Father we are expectant and believing and will continue to bring the sick before Jesus for Him to continue His ministry of healing for the days of the supernatural have not ceased. For your glory Father this is asked in the name of Jesus whose name you will always hear. Amen.

  • Jesus Christ is our life

But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, today is the third day since these things were done.

St. Luke 24:21

Father God let us be real with you and accept that should depression and oppression visit us then we are to blame and not God or anyone else. For these come from one of two sources which are that we have satisfied a lust or we have not. A lust that we must have the something at once.

Spiritual lust, Father, has us demanding an answer from God when we should be seeking God who will give us the answer. Show us Father to trust instead of questioning and insisting on the point of prayer for when we do we are off track with God. Let us have faith to trust you for then we will not have spiritual dejection which leads to depression and oppression. May we see you, Father, in the common-place things and people around us.

Then we shall know your Son Jesus Christ to be our life rather than thinking we have a separate life apart from Him. Father this is asked in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen.

01 10 15 Prayer

Jesus is the answer

From whence can a man satisfy these men with bread here in the wilderness?

St. Mark 8:4

Father, Jesus was always ready to meet the need whatever the situation. Here around four thousand people had come to listen to Him bring to life the Word of God. He the Living Word bringing to them an understanding of God. What a hunger these people had for the Word of God for we are told they had had nothing to eat for three days. Jesus’ disciples could only see the people through their natural eyes.

Jesus who would on another occasion call Himself ‘the bread of life’ had the answer. To feed four thousand was not difficult for the creator of life. How Jesus shows us here that He could take of a few loaves and fishes and not only feed those who were there but also have plenty over.

Father may our little in the hands of Jesus be used to reach out with the ‘bread of life, Jesus to the multitudes in every nation who have yet to be given the opportunity of hearing of and giving their lives to Jesus.

This prayer is asked in the name which is higher than any other name in heaven and earth, that of your Son Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

The love of God at its best

And they that were crucified with him reviled him.

St. Mark 15:32

Father how your Son Jesus Christ was despised, rejected and reviled. He was betrayed by one of His disciples. He was treated at His trial worse than anyone had been treated. Although God He was spat upon and scourged and mocked. Did anyone suffer more than He? An outcast of the world He had created. Unrecognised by those He had come to die in their place.

Even whilst dying on the cross with His life blood draining away the men being crucified on either side of Him also reviled Him. Father the crucifixion was the world at its worst. Yet Jesus dying on the cross was the love of God at its best. May we who have a living experience of the Jesus of the cross now alive and living within us as Saviour and Lord never forget what it cost Him for our so great salvation.

It cost Him His life for it cost Him the one who had not death within Him to submit to death so that through His resurrection we might be partakers of His resurrection life. This prayer is asked Father in the name which is above every other name that of your Son Jesus Christ. Amen

  • Always stayed on God

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

Isaiah 26:3

Father may our imaginations always be stayed on God. Should our imaginations be not stayed on thee then this will lead to exhaustion and the sapping of life. What a gift you have given, Father, for imagination should be entirely devoted to you. This gift is ours when every thought is brought into captivity to the obedience of Christ so that when trials come our way then faith and the Spirit of God will work together.

May we at all times remember whose we are and whom we serve then our imagination will no longer be starved for it will be enthusiastic and our hope in thee secure in the Rock who is Jesus Christ our Lord.

This prayer is asked of thee Father in the name which is above all other names that of Jesus Christ so that you shall be glorified in the Son. Amen.

Jesus came to serve

Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

St. Matthew 20:28

Father how your Son shows how different He was to the ways of the world. He came to minister, He came to serve and not to be centred upon Himself or His wants for His own self. Jesus said ‘I am among you as He that serveth.’ Your servant Paul also spoke of serving when he said ‘ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake.’ Father service can be seen as central to the Christian life.

May there be an understanding of service from your point for this is not to be the idea of someone called into the ministry as being in some way superior. For Jesus Christ showed that it is the opposite for although those who are called into the ministry are to be spiritual leaders, they are also to be the ‘door mat’ for others. Your servant Paul gives an understanding of what a ‘door mat ’is when he says ‘I know how to be abased.’

May there be service of this abasing today from all who are called into the ministry. For we are called out of the world for yourself to a life of holiness, your holiness in and through us. A life which is being spent to reach out to others so that they can come to know Jesus Christ through us. Father this prayer is offered unto yourself through Jesus Christ our Lord and for your glory. Amen.

The words of life.

And could not find what they might do: for all the people were very attentive to hear him.

St. Luke 19:48

Father the religious ones during the earthly ministry of thy Son Jesus Christ did not know what to do about Him. He stood totally opposite to them in the response which was given by those who heard the words of life. He made the Word of God come alive in relation to their own lives. He made God real for although they saw Him only as a prophet He was different to the dead religion which was being taught by the Pharisees. The people were attentive to hear Him so as not to miss some vital truth about God.

He had the words of life which brought the people nearer to God than they had previously known. The religious ones of the day looked to apply the Law to the letter of which Paul later spoke about as bringing death not life. Father in these days there is a spiritual deadness too in what calls itself Christianity. There are deaf ears and blind eyes towards your Word the Bible. Apart from a small minority there is no longer openness to receive penetrating preaching. Instead this has been substituted by prosperity (happiness) Christianity, a Christianity which takes the hearer who follows this way on the broad road to hell.

Father O Father I cry unto you for the restoration of ears to hear and eyes to see your Word being preached in the fire of the Holy Spirit so that sinners will repent and come to the narrow road of salvation as a gift through the atoning blood of your Son Jesus Christ. For your glory this is asked so that you shall be glorified in your Son Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

  • The humility of Jesus.

And I will very gladly spend and be spent for you, though the more abundantly I love you, the less I be loved.

2 Corinthians 12:15

Father in this thy Word your servant Paul tells the Corinthians that he did not care whether they loved him or not.  Paul’s only concern was that he might bring them to God. In Paul’s willingness to be destitute by not seeking anything for himself we see the outworking of the life of your Son through Paul.

Natural love would have expected some return, some response from the Corinthians. This Father was the Divine love being poured out through Paul for what he had received had not to be retained for himself but poured out to others. How much does this speak to us of Jesus who ‘though He was rich, yet for our sakes He became poor.’ Paul’s idea of service was along these lines. Father the idea of the Church of what is a servant of God is not the same as Jesus.

His idea is that we serve Him and this as the servants of other men and women. Father may the humility of your Son as the servant be placed in the hearts of all who have yielded their lives to Him. This is asked for your glory for this is asked through your Son Jesus Christ whom you cannot deny. Amen.

I am here for God.

And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain.

St. Matthew 5:41

Father the teaching of your Son Jesus Christ is that the relationship which He demands is an impossible one unless He has done a supernatural work in us. For the demands of Jesus are that there be no trace of resentment in our hearts when we meet with tyranny and injustice. Enthusiasm will not stand the strain which Jesus puts upon His worker. Father may there be an acceptance that there is only one thing which will and that is a personal relationship to Jesus Christ Himself which has gone through many tests so that there is only one purpose left, the purpose of I am here for God to send me where He will. Father grant your Son Jesus Christ many in these days of apostasy who will say to Him ‘I am here for God to send me where He will.’ This prayer is asked that you shall be glorified in the Son. Amen.

  • He who is Life.

The woman saith unto him, Sir thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?

St. John 4:11

Father your Son Jesus spoke to the woman of Samaria that had she asked Him He would have given her living water. He who is Life would have given true life which reaches into the very depths of our beings and pours into us the only life which satisfies. The Samaritan woman was a woman of the world. She had tasted the ways of the world and had been left with an unfulfilled life. This is the same today for millions of people who are without hope for their lives are as empty as a dry well. Father you sent your Son to give life, the very life of God.

As Jesus laid down His life so that His broken life would be the broken bread who becomes our own life when He becomes not only our Saviour but our Lord. Father draw unfulfilled lives which have still to be snatched as brands from the burning flames of hell to see the horrors of a life of sin. The Samaritan woman’s heart was opened as she in the presence of your Son acknowledged her sin and turned away from her sin.

May there be deep conviction of sin within sinners today to turn to Jesus in repentance and be cleansed through His blood. For only then can the living water be received through Him who alone is the source and giver of life. Father to you is this asked through Jesus Christ so that you shall be glorified in the Son. Amen.

Face to Face with Jesus

Saying, what wilt thou that I shall do unto thee? And he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight.

St Luke 18:41

Father in the Christian life there can be that which can disturb the believer and cause them to be a disturbance. In the matter of the blind man seeking Jesus to give him his sight the man was rebuked by those around to hold his peace. Yet the man cried out even more. His disturbance, though, brought him face to face with Jesus. May we too when faced with that which would come to disturb us also persist until we get face to face with Jesus instead of relying upon human nature’s way of common sense.

Father may we be reminded that when Jesus asks us what we want Him to do for us how incredible that matter may be which we face that Jesus does not work in common-sense ways, for He works in supernatural ways. This prayer is asked, Father, through the name which is above all other names that of your Son our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen.

Being as Christ in the world.

And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom.

St. Matthew 27:51

Father the exact moment that your Son Jesus Christ died on the cross the veil which had prevent everyone except the high priest (and that only once a year after first offering for his own sins) from entering the Holiest place of all was torn from top to bottom. The holy of holies spoke of your holiness and under the old covenant there was no access to your presence on a permanent basis. Father at a stroke by your supernatural intervention the way into your presence was opened to whoever will come. Not only will come, also for you to be their God and dwell within them when Your Son becomes their life. No longer shut out from you for  they shall be my people and I shall be their God by coming and taking my rightful possession of their hearts. Father this is the Divine in the human, Christ in us. His perfections worked out through our personalities when we are wholly His. Christ as Saviour, Christ as Lord. Come into my heart Lord Jesus there is room in my heart for thee. Thank you Father for this is being as Christ in the world so that you shall be glorified through Him who loved us and gave Himself for us. Amen.

  • Perfect love

Lovest thou me more than these?

St. John 21:15

Father your Son spoke these words to His disciple Peter. They were words which spoke to his heart and tested out his complete separation to Jesus. To have undivided love for Jesus is perfect love. A love which will not deviate or grow cold. This love is your love for Jesus spoke of when He was seen during His earthly ministry then the Father was also seen too for Jesus and the Father are one. Father may we realise that this love of thine is rooted in our hearts for when we have submitted our wills to you we have been brought into a union with your Son whereby we are one with Him for we are in Him and He in us. This prayer is for your glory as it is made as being one with your Son Jesus Christ. Amen.

The Deity of Jesus.

Making himself equal with God.

St. John 5:17

Father these words in which John speaks of Jesus being equal with God are as vital now to an understanding of who Jesus is and why He came to earth as the day John wrote them. Unless Jesus is equal with God then His death on the cross at Calvary was only the death of a man. A man who could not have redeemed sinful men from the sin that they are born with and from the possibility of damnation through the heredity of sin.

Father it was in His sinless nature that Jesus could offer Himself as the only acceptable offering for sin when He gave His life-blood so that repentant sinners could be forgiven. As only God can forgive sins then Jesus must be God as did He not speak of forgiving sins during His earthly ministry too?  Yet there are those in these days just like those who made out to be religious during Jesus earthly ministry who likewise refuse to accept Jesus as equal with God. Father is it not that the Holy Spirit is needed to open hearts to show that Jesus Christ is your Son and equal with yourself?

Father this is a supernatural work of grace in the heart and still needed in these days for without this supernatural revelation of who Jesus is sinners will die in their sins and not one would be forgiven.  Father in your mercy grant this prayer which is asked through the one who sits at your right hand, your Son Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

  • The cleansed heart

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Romans 10:10

Father your Word could not be clearer when this speaks of believing with the heart. How can salvation be with the mind? The mind cannot be regenerated for the mind cannot be born again by the Spirit of God. Father your Word has to speak to the heart or it does not speak at all. For it is the heart which is spoken of as needing to be cleansed. The clean heart alone becomes the home of your Son Jesus Christ to make His home.

For it is the heart where He brings His righteousness which brings the once condemned sinner who has repented of their sins and had their heart cleansed through His blood into a right relationship with God.  Father there are those who call themselves Pastors, Evangelists, Ministers and Preachers who are speaking to the head and not to the heart.

Will you at this time restore the preaching of your Word to the heart in the anointing of the Holy Spirit? For unless the people do hear your Word by revelation and not through human knowledge the people will continue to be blinded to the truth of the only way of salvation. For your glory alone this is asked through the name which is higher than any other name, that of your Son Jesus Christ. Amen.

Assurance

He saith unto them, It is I: be not afraid.

St John 6:20

Father in the midst of the storm when Jesus’ disciples were afraid Jesus came to them and brought His peace into their hearts. They were afraid because the storm raged and the ship was in danger of sinking. Life too Father brings its storms where there are times when all seems overwhelming and left to ourselves we too would sink into despair. What joy, what peace there is though when your Son Jesus Christ comes into our life for then no matter what the outward circumstances we have the assurance that we are more than conquerors through Him.

For those who do not have Him as their life there will be despair and no hope for how can there be hope without Him who is more than hope but the very purpose of life? Father open hearts and draw to Jesus those who despair of life to the only one who has the answer to life’s problems. For those who do not have Jesus Christ as their Saviour and Lord there will always be problems. To those who have Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord there are solutions because He will enable them to overcome the problems by seeing them as a means of bringing their lives into a life of total surrender to all the will of God. This prayer is asked through your Son Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

  • The finished work of Jesus Christ

Ye shall earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

Jude 3

Father in these words is given a clear warning that there would be the need to ‘earnestly contend for the faith.’ Arouse the body of Christ to be aware that these words were not just for the early church for down the centuries and in these days too there are wicked evil spirits at work seeking to destroy Christianity which has its foundations solidly built upon your Son Jesus Christ and the written Word of God the Bible.

Father your honour is at stake in these days when there is a false gospel of works instead of the true Gospel based on faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ in His death, resurrection  and ascension who is now seated at thy right hand having all authority in heaven and earth. Father your Word states clearly of that ‘which was once delivered unto the saints.’ Father your Word has been disobeyed over the centuries as tradition has been given the same place as your never-changing Word, the Bible. What are you going to do? The sacrificial atonement through the blood of your Son as the only offering for sin is being rejected for the traditions and doctrine of men. Father surely your honour is at stake whilst this continues.

As the unchanging God true to your covenant promises I challenge you to intervene and contend for the faith which is your faith as given by the Holy Spirit to men inspired by Him to bring your never-changing Word so that hell-deserving sinners can repent of their sins and be forgiven. For your glory alone Father this is asked through your Son Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

The fire which Jesus sends

I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled.

St. Luke 12:49

Father the Word contained in the Bible as given by your Son Jesus Christ speaks so clearly in this verse. It is the Word of authority and the Word which warns that Jesus did not come to bring an easy kind of life. Fire destroys and this is what Jesus does when He comes and works His redemption in the lives of those whom He comes to live. When He comes to live within those who have yielded their lives to Him than the dross of the old nature is burned up and replaced by His own Divine nature.

Father may there be more and more who call themselves Christian be completely yielded to Jesus so as to be taken out of the anti-christ system of the world. May there be a boldness to preach and teach the truths of thy Word without compromise. For compromise is of the false Jesus who pampers to the self-life which seeks a comfortable life based on the lusts of the flesh which is no different to that of unbelievers.

Father may the fire of which Jesus spoke even increase in these days so that the royal priesthood of believers is clearly recognised as different from that which calls itself Christianity which has refused to have Jesus Christ reign in their lives. This prayer is asked and the answer received Father through your Son Jesus Christ so that you shall be glorified in the Son. Amen.

The true Shepherd

And a stranger will they not follow, but they will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.

St. John 10:5

Father how wonderful, how marvellous it is to hear the voice of your Son Jesus Christ speaking to our spirits that we are born of God. Not only born of God also to know that God is our Father and we can call you Abba Father. In these days, tough, there are many strangers to your grace who are very successful in enticing those to another shepherd and another sheepfold. Strangers and voices which those who have been born again of the true shepherd into the sheepfold of the kingdom of heaven should never be drawn away into even should they hear the voice of strangers who are not of the kingdom of God.

Strangers whose voices are the voices of devils whether they be the emergent church, the accommodation gospel, the prosperity gospel, the church of Rome or the many lying spirits of false sects. All these as warned by John in his epistle should be tested to see whether they be of God. Father you know and those who are in Christ should know that these are not of God. They are of the works of darkness. The true light is the shepherd of the sheep who gave His life for His friends. We are His friends when we have entered through the door where hearts are cleansed through His blood.

No more cut off from God by sin but having the assurance of sins forgiven and the life of God in Christ dwelling within. Father ever separate unto yourself a people who are in the sheepfold knowing the only true shepherd and bishop of their souls. For your glory alone is this asked Father through your Son Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

25 01 16  Prayer

The fullness of Christ.

Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.

Ephesians 4:13

Father in the Christian life the goal is given at the beginning as the beginning and the end are the same. The goal is the Lord Jesus Christ Himself. For the Christian life both starts and ends with Him. The aim of the Christian life is to do God’s will not to be useful. Father our Lord’s life reached the climax of your will upon the cross and unless we go there with Jesus we shall have no companionship with Him.

Nothing hurried or delayed our Lord from fulfilling all of your will on His way to Jerusalem and the cross. Likewise the disciple is not above his Master. Father we know that as His disciples the same things will happen to us on the way of the Christian life. There will be the works of God manifested through us, some people may show gratitude but in the main we like Jesus will be rejected even by those who call themselves Christian. Just like the Pharisees during Jesus’ earthly ministry those who keep to upholding penetrating preaching of the Gospel based only on the Bible will find so called Christians not open to receive thy Word. Father let us keep firm to accepting all of your will and for God to do this through us.

This prayer is asked in the name above all other names that of your Son our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen

Prayer 01 02 16

The Deity of Jesus Christ

For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.

St. John 12:43

Father how thy Son met the spirit of unbelief through the Pharisees during His time on earth. The hard unbelieving and rejecting spirit of the Pharisees caused many to not come to accept Jesus as the Messiah for fear of being excommunicated from the synagogue.

However, the hearts of some were opened and became secret believers. In these days too there is that same spirit of unbelief not only by the Pharisees but also the spirit of everything religious. For the religious spirit whatever religion this may be is one of unbelief in the deity of Jesus Christ as God the Son who is equal with the Father. In the midst of this spirit of unbelief, Father, there are genuine seekers after God out of every religion.

May each heart who is being drawn to Jesus be opened to the truth of who He is whether those who seek are a Rabbi, Mullah or Iman. For Father the field of souls is there to be harvested and the true reaper your Son Jesus Christ is the only person in any religion who died in the place of sinners.

Father let Jesus see of the travail of His soul and be satisfied. This prayer is for your glory as it is asked through your Son Jesus Christ so that you shall be glorified in the Son. Amen.

Prayer - 08 02 16

True Humility

He humbled Himself

Philippians 2:8

Father your Son Jesus Christ shows what is true humility. He although God the Son came from the glory of heaven to fulfil your will to become the one perfect sacrifice for sin offered with His own blood. He took the penalty of sin which is death even though as God He had not death in Him. He submitted Himself to accept death when He became man. Father how can we thank you enough that you spared not your own Son as you through Him brought the perfect love of God.

What love given through death so that repentant sinners could be forgiven and receive a pardon and more than that to come to receive God into their lives and come to have a most amazing relationship as you become our Abba Father. Sadly Father many have been drawn into other ways which cannot see the humility of your Son. There is another gospel these days which casts away the God provided way to yourself.

Instead of humility in accepting the gift of salvation through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ as preached in many churches in days gone by and still faithfully preached by a small remnant this is now rejected. Instead there has come the invasion of entertainment, art and culture into churches which often are now called community churches of a social gospel not one calling on sinners to repent.

Father what do you make of a gospel which is man- centred and not God-centred which speaks of introducing people to Jesus? Which Jesus is this the false Jesus or your Son Jesus Christ who humbled Himself unto death, even the death of the cross?

Father separate unto yourself those who know you as Abba Father having repented of their sin to know that they have been blood bought and blood washed. This prayer is asked through your Son Jesus Christ so that you shall be glorified in the Son. Amen.

Victory

Victory, glorious victory through the glorious triumphant victory of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ who shall be restored to His pre-eminent place in the United Kingdom.

Because thy rage against me, and thy tumult, is come up into mine ears, therefore will I put my hook in thy nose, and my bridle in thy lips, and I will turn thee back by the way by which thou camest.

Isaiah 37:29

This is the final part of overcoming humanly impossible situations which will affect the Gospel being able to reach every creature. A momentous decision will be taken on 23 June whether the United Kingdom shall remain in the European Union or chose to leave. Even before votes are cast the decision has already been made in heaven. Intercession has prevailed and the United Kingdom shall not only be kept open for the Gospel for it shall again be used to reach out to other nations with the Gospel of redemption to lost, guilty and already condemned sinners.

This is the compassion of God in Jesus Christ, the compassion which knows no limits to reconcile men and women to Himself. This is because believing prayer has prevailed with the One on the throne, prayer on the lines of faith because God’s honour is at stake when satanic forces had set out to destroy every known Christian principle in the United Kingdom. The anti-christ of the Jesuits had been behind this and it is out into the open. It is not looking back to the cross and seeing a dead Jesus Christ still nailed to the cross. It is looking forward from the cross at the fulfilling of His victory.

The victory over every principality and power of satanic darkness. The Person of the Holy Ghost can now live His life that is the life of the risen, ascended and glorified Son of God within vessels which have been cleansed of sin and live in the outworked victory over him who had the power of sin.

The royal priesthood of believers is to come into the fullness of their position in Christ of being seated with Him in heavenly places, always there in the throne room of God to prevail time and again by praying the prayers given by the Holy Ghost.

For when the body of Christ is rightly related to Himself then satanic barrier after barrier placed to hinder the spread of the Gospel shall be removed and the Lord of glory shall take His rightful place for He shall be pre-eminent as the Head of the Church.

Prayer - 25 JULY 2016

The Holy Spirit

If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death.

1 John 5:16

Father may those who are in Christ be aware of the way the Spirit of God works so that they do not become spiritual hypocrites. Instead of seeing where others are failing and criticising may instead there be intercession on their behalf. This revelation will come not by acuteness of our minds but by the direct penetration of the Spirit of God. For it is when we do not hear the inner witness of the Holy Spirit this leaves the door open for a critical heart.

May we ever be open to the Holy Spirit guiding us which when there is a brother or sister in need of prayer to ‘ask and He shall give him life for them that sin not unto death.’ Father this prayer is asked through the name which you cannot deny that of your Son Jesus Christ our Lord so that you shall be glorified in the Son. Amen.

Prayer - 08 August 2016

Jesus Christ

That thou mightiest receive thy sight and be filled with the Holy Ghost.

Father when Paul received his sight he also received spiritually an insight into the Person of Jesus Christ. From that moment the whole of Paul’s subsequent life and preaching was nothing but Jesus Christ.

There was no other attraction which was then ever allowed to hold the mind and soul of Paul except that of the face of Jesus Christ. As your children, Father, may we learn to maintain an unimpaired state of character which reveals the vision of Jesus Christ.

Then our one concentrated passion of our lives is the life of Jesus Christ. Father this is asked and received through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Prayer - 29 August 2016

The Only foundation

For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 3:11

Father your Word could not be clearer in that the only foundation for the Christian life is Jesus Christ Himself.

There can be no Christianity unless He is the both foundation and the very life of those who say that they are Christian. Yet there are those who call themselves Christian who do not belong to Jesus Christ as they have accepted teaching which denies His deity and the atonement which He made through His blood to reconcile repentant sinners.

Father bring these heresies into the light of God as they are lies from the pit of hell from the father of lies the devil. This prayer is asked through the name which you cannot deny that of your Son Jesus Christ so that you shall be glorified in the Son. Amen.

Prayer 05 September 2016

And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.

1 Corinthians 15:14

Father Paul knew that the resurrection of your Son Jesus was a central truth to the Christian faith. Should Jesus have not been raised by you from the dead then there could not be the forgiveness of sins.

Every sinner would be condemned to be cut off from yourself forever with no possibility of forgiveness and coming to receive the life of God into their own lives. Father there have been those and still are those who although making out to be serving you deny the bodily resurrection of Jesus.

Father it is the evidence of the power of the risen Jesus Christ which is needed in these days to silence those who deny that He is alive, seated at your right hand and having all power in heaven and earth.

Father grant a new revelation of the risen Jesus Christ so that you shall be glorified in the Son. Amen.

Prayer 26 09 16

The Pre-Eminence of Jesus Christ

And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist.

Colossians 1:17

Father your Son Jesus Christ is to be give pre-eminence in all things whether in heaven or on earth. He is the creator of all things as He was before all things. In these days when wicked evil spirits look to do their utmost to blind hearts from being able to hear of Jesus Christ there is still the means of prayer. Father in your wonderful and amazing ways you need those who have accepted Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord for you work through them.

As those who are His remain loyal to Him then He will work in and through them to do the work of God. This work above all else is based on prayer. The prayers of God through those who are His so that God is moved to act according to His sovereign will and Jesus Christ is given the pre-eminence.

This prayer is asked through Jesus Christ so that the Father shall be glorified in the Son. Amen.

Prayer 07 11 16

The Son of God

Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life.

Acts of the Apostles 5:20

Heavenly Father what words these are ‘all the words of this life.’ For this life is found in your Son Jesus Christ. This is the most wonderful life possible. It is the life of the Son of God Himself. It is the life where God is all the time. It is the life where He is round about and He is within.

It is the life where the Lord Jesus is known, felt, heard and seen all the time. Heavenly Father in these days of unbelief may the Holy Spirit open hearts to receive the most wonderful life possible on earth which is received in the person of your Son.

This is asked through the name which is above all other names that of your Son Jesus Christ. Amen.

Prayer 21 11 16

Words of Life

For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.

St. John 6:33

Heavenly Father what wonderful words are in the Bible. These are words of life. Not the works of death sweeping through the world as seen at this time. There is despair in the world not knowing when the forces of evil driven by demon spirits will strike next. In the bread of God, your Son Jesus Christ there is life, the living bread which alone can satisfy the desolate and despairing heart.

For Jesus came down from heaven to bring the life of God. On the cross He brought redemption to anyone who will repent of their sin and accept Him as their Saviour and Lord. Now for all who have received Him there is no desolation, no despair.

Thank you Lord Jesus for being the assurance of sins forgiven and the guarantee of everlasting life to all who have taken of the bread of God, the bread being your own life living within them.

This prayer Father is for your glory for it is made through Jesus Christ. Amen.

Prayer 20 12 16

The Messiah shall reign

And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the Lord of hosts.

Malachi 3:12

Almighty God thy Word is sealed for there is that which even when it is prayed against or nations may seek to come against thy Word it will never be opposed. In this word given through thy prophet Malachi is a promise to Israel.

The nations have come against and still come against Israel. There have been times when it has been thee who brought nations against Israel to execute thy judgement because of Israel’s apostasy. A time will come though when all nations shall acknowledge the God of Israel.

On that day it shall be a glorious day for the Messiah shall reign in all His glory. Amen.

20 02 17  Prayer

The indwelling Son of God

That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith.

Ephesians 3:17

Heavenly Father what joy there is to know that your Son Jesus Christ does dwell within the heart of the believer. This is by the faith of God. A faith which stirred a response to the cords of love which drew to Jesus. A faith which saw the unmerited favour of God reaching out and plucking the undeserving sinner from the jaws of the everlasting flames of hell. What a salvation Heavenly Father you have given through Jesus.

He who although God laid down His life so that repentant sinners could not just receive a pardon from their sins but also receive the life of God into their hearts. May this life of Jesus blossom and flourish so that it is no longer dwelling on what Jesus did on the cross but the outworking of His life in each believer through the triumphs of His death and resurrection. Heavenly Father may you always be glorified through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

27 02 17

The Almighty Christ

And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

Colossians 2:15

Heavenly Father through thy beloved Son has come the victory over sin and hell and the devil. He alone triumphed for in His death on the cross came those words which have spoken down the ages and still speak ‘it is finished.’ Yet there has been and still is rebellion against the finished work of Jesus Christ.

That which calls itself church and Christianity has and still acts in unbelief by making out that His one perfect sacrifice for sin through His death is insufficient in the never-ending sacrifices still being offered. Not offered to thee as there is no more need for offering according to thy Word so they can only be offered to the devil himself. O God open blind eyes and closed hearts to see the only sacrifice for sin has already been made and accepted. A sacrifice which has provided the means not only for forgiveness to repentant sinners but also for all who accept Jesus into their lives to become ‘finished work’ themselves, now joined with Him to be a living sacrifice as a member of the royal priesthood of believers.

Therefore no longer is there need for earthly priests to make offerings on their behalf. For your glory Heavenly Father this is asked and believed for through your Son Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

His Peace

And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

Colossians 1:20

O God what a most wonderful word you have given. For it is in the person of your Son alone that there is peace. He is peace for He made peace by the only way possible that of the offering of His own blood which drained from His veins whilst nailed to the cross on Calvary’s desolate hill.

No other way is known. No other way can bring peace to the heart. The world under the god of this world that enemy of mankind Satan can never bring peace. For he comes to steal, kill and destroy. In thy mercy O God raise up prophets and preachers who will speak out what they hear from you to call sinners to repentance and to be reconciled to you through the blood of Jesus Christ. Then He who is peace shall live in them and fill them with His peace.

For your glory this is asked through Jesus Christ.

Amen.

The faith of the Lord Jesus Christ out-worked in the believer

Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered.

St. John 16:32

Father in these words can be seen that Jesus was rebuking His disciples for their faith which although real was disturbed for it was not working in actual things. The disciples were scattered to their own interests which were not in Jesus Christ. When those who have yielded their lives to Jesus Christ are perfectly related to God in sanctification then they bring their faith to be worked out in actualities.

This will bring them into inner desolations so that they will know what internal death to God’s blessings means. Not a life of ease for this is identification with the death of Jesus Christ being worked out in the life of those who belong to Him.

It is death working in us so that the life of Jesus Christ shall be brought to others. Father let this be so then the life of Jesus Christ in and through us shall be one of compassion and long-suffering to set free the needy ones who are ravaged by the effects of sin.

This prayer is asked through the name which is all-powerful, that of your Son Jesus Christ. Amen.

The agony of Gethsemane

Then cometh Jesus with them unto a place called Gethsemane.

St. Matthew 26:36

Father how can we fathom the agony of Gethsemane? For there came together God and Man in one face to face with sin. Although we know nothing of Gethsemane or Calvary in personal experience for they stand for that which is unique both became the gateway into Life for those who believe.

In Gethsemane Jesus feared that He might not get through as Son of Man. Satan could not touch Jesus as Son of God. Satan’s final onslaught against Jesus as Son of Man was in Gethsemane where the veil is drawn aside to reveal all it cost Him to make it possible for those who now belong to Him to have become sons of God.

The cross was the visible triumph for the Son of Man for He had triumphed to bring sinners who repent of their sins and are washed clean by the blood of Jesus into the presence of God Father what a glorious triumph through your Son. May never forget the agony He went through as the Son of Man. Amen.

Risen from the dead

He charged then that they should tell no man what things they had seen, till the Son of man were risen from the dead.

St. Mark 9:9

Father grant that the life of your Son Jesus Christ so dominates your people that they shall understand what the historic Jesus taught. Then they shall be amazed that they had not seen this wonderful Jesus before they came to do so. It is only when your people come into a fit condition of spiritual life that they can fully understand. Grant Father that communion with this risen life of Jesus so that each one who belongs to Jesus shall be able to bear all that He wants them to know and do what He wants them to do. Father may Jesus of the resurrection be fully formed in all who are His. For your glory Father this is asked through your Son the Lord Jesus Christ so that you shall be glorified through the Son. Amen.

The Glory of the Lord

But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord.

2 Corinthians 3:18

Heavenly Father may your servants accept that a servant of God must stand so much alone that he never knows that he is alone. From the time of being born again to become a Christian there will come disheartenments and people who used to be friends or stood with us will pass away as no longer being part of this new life. Help us Father to build our faith not on the fading light of the past but on the light that never fails.

May there be a restoration of the time when the Christian worker looked perpetually in the face of God. For it is in doing so that the worker becomes strong as he or she is continuously filled with the Holy Spirit.

This Heavenly Father is asked through Jesus Christ our Lord so that you shall be glorified through the Son. Amen.

For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?

St. Luke 14:28

Lord Jesus you refer not to the cost we have to count but to the cost which you have counted. The cost being the thirty years in Nazareth and the three years of popularity, scandal and hatred. There was the unfathomable agony in Gethsemane and the onslaught at Calvary. Jesus O Jesus you counted the cost.

Grant Lord that those men and women that are to be used by yourself are those you have done everything. For this is the outworking of “If any man come to Me and hate not …he cannot be my disciple.” The cost of discipleship Lord implies that you will only use those who love you personally, passionately and devotedly beyond any of the closest ties on earth. Lord help us to see that the conditions are stern but they are glorious.

May we be willing to be made willing to be absolutely abandoned to you. Amen.

The cost to Jesus.

For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?

Seeking the Lord Jesus Christ for Himself.

“And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last.”

Revelation 1:17

Heavenly Father you have given all things necessary for life through your Son the Lord Jesus Christ. He can be known intimately.

At times, though, He comes to reveal Himself in His majesty. It is the awfulness of the vision of His majesty which leads to this delight in Him for Himself alone. Heavenly Father may the hand of God be laid upon those who seek your Son for Himself rather than for what they may receive in blessing.

One touch of Him and all else is as nothing.

Living then onwards for the glory of God and the manifestation of Jesus through those who have become wholly His.

This is asked for your glory, Father, through the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

04 09 18 Prayer

Truth

At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you: for the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.

St. John 16:26-27

Father may these great truths of your Son Jesus be written on our hearts. Not just using the name of Jesus as some formula for He those who belong to Him have become so intimate with Him that they have become one with Him.

The day of which Jesus speaks is not in the future for it is for the here and now.

For when Jesus speaks of “The Father Himself loveth you” the union is so complete and absolute.

Although life shall still have its external perplexities there is now a new relationship, that through the baptism of the Holy Ghost He can He can lift us up into the heavenly places where He can reveal the counsels of God to us.

Father let this be so that you shall be glorified through your beloved Son.

Amen.

08 09 19 Prayer

Atonement

“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.”

1 Peter 2:9

Heavenly Father by what right do we become ‘a royal priesthood’? It is, according to your word by the right of the Atonement of your Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

May the Atonement be restored to the teaching of the Church for without a clear understanding of the Atonement there is not a royal priesthood of believers in these days. Not only this for there is a looking within ourselves to see whether we are what we ought to be which generates a self-centred, morbid type of Christianity which is not the robust, simple life which should be the norm for the child of God.

May the normal Christian life be in line with your Word, that of a right relationship with God through the miracle of redemption in your Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Amen.

23 03 20 Prayer

Our Lord's Resurrection

“That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death.” Philippians 3:10.

Lord Jesus Christ what joy it is to know thee. In knowing thyself is to have fullness of life.

This is not self-realisation which is that which the world seeks. All circumstances to the man and woman of God are the means of coming into the full knowledge of thyself Lord Jesus Christ. For thou art God of God, very God of very God, begotten not made.

The only Son of the Father.

May all who call themselves Christian have this reckless abandonment about them whether man or woman so that the Father shall be glorified through Son.

Amen.

30 03 20 Prayer

The Son of God

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

St. Matthew 11:28

Heavenly Father the questions in life are all answered by coming unto thy Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. When I came to Jesus my actual life was brought into accordance with my real desires.

There was that ceasing from sin as the song of the Lord began.

In these days of dearth in the body of Christ restore the preaching and teaching of thy Word which covers what it is to be a son of God and a joint-heir with Christ.

For thy Glory alone this is asked.

Amen.

06 04 20 Prayer

The son of God.

Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ.” Ephesians 4:13

Father God how you are looking for the whole human race to be put back into the relationship for which God designed this to be in. For this is what the Lord Jesus Christ did in Redemption. It is the rehabilitation of the human race on Jesus Christ’s plan which brings the realisation of Jesus Christ in corporate life besides being in individual life. May the body of Christ realise that it is not simply to develop an individual spiritual, life but to realise Jesus Christ so that the Body of Christ may be built up. This is for your glory in Jesus Christ. Amen.

“In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.” Isaiah 6:1

Lord God you have much to teach your often wayward and unyielding people. You often need to remove their friends in order to bring yourself in their place. This can lead to discouragement. The opportunity came yet was it taken? To take the opportunity needs to be able to see the Lord. The vision of God depends on character. For it is character which determines revelation. Before the Lord is seen there must be something which corresponds to God in the character. Until being born again this will not happen. It is when the Kingdom of God becomes real that there is a willingness to pay the price and live up to the vision which God has for His people. Amen.

“But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.” St. Matthew 5:39

Heavenly Father this verse shows the humiliation of being a Christian. Naturally to act in this way is seen to be a coward. Spiritually if a man does not hit back this is the manifestation of the Son of God in him. To be insulted is an opportunity not to resent it for this is also the occasion to exhibit the Son of God. The Son of God cannot be imitated. He is either in us or He is not. To those who are His personal insult becomes the occasion of revealing the sweetness of the Son of God. May the difference between those who have the life of your Son and those who do not be seen in these days Heavenly Father. This is asked through the Lord Jesus Christ so that you may be glorified through the Son. Amen.

06 07 20 Prayer

Lovest thou me.

“He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.” St. John 21:16

Lord Jesus how your words speak to the heart. They go right to the point of the matter.

In Christian work it is not to seek to make converts to my way of thinking. No it has to be looking after your sheep.

This is to see that they get nourished in the knowledge of yourself. Lord show what you call service.

This is what each Christian is be to you rather than what each does for you.

Discipleship is based on devotion to you and not on adherence to a belief or a creed.

May each one who calls him or herself a Christian be wholly devoted to you dear Lord Jesus.

Amen.

The Royal Priesthood

“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.”

1 Peter 2:9

03 08 20 Prayer

A Man of Sorrow.

“He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief:and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.”

Isaiah 53:3

O God we do not know grief in the same way in which our Lord was acquainted.

He was intimate with grief whereas we endure and get through it. We do not reconcile ourselves with sin at the beginning of life. It is as we go on there is found a presence of that which had not been taken into consideration, that of sin. In these days there is rebellion against God when sin is not recognised as a fact of life and not a defect.

Either God or sin has to die in our lives.

When sin rules in me God’s life will die. When God rules in me then sin will be killed.

The climax of sin is that it crucified Jesus Christ. This is the only explanation for why Jesus Christ came and the explanation of the grief and sorrow in life.

O God open the hearts of sinners to the only perfect sacrifice for which repentant sinners are to be reconciled with God is the Redemption made in the blood of Jesus Christ.

Amen.

08 09 20 Prayer

Jesus all in all.

“If that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.”

Philippians 3:12   Used 12 March 2018

Heavenly Father may there be a realisation that no one should chose to be a worker for God. Instead there needs to be a realisation that when God has put His call on anyone then there must be no turning away from the call.

There is a misunderstanding which has become an enemy against the true Word of God. This is that we are here to work for God because we have chosen to do so. The matter is not so because it is God who apprehends us to do so.

How otherwise would I or any other preacher or teacher of the Word of God know what is determined by God for preaching and teaching of the Word of God for this does not come by our own natural inclinations?

What a revelation this is compared to what calls itself Christianity today! For instead of preaching and teaching that which is determined by God has come that which is pleasing to the ears of men and women rather than the great truths contained in the Bible.

Why is sin made to look acceptable and the redemption through the blood of Jesus for the forgiveness of sins after repentance of sin made to appear to be no longer needed? O God your honour is at stake whilst this remains the norm in an age in which the church has compromised your Word and the church has compromised with the world, the flesh and the devil and is in the main a bastion for Christian Marxism.

O God what are you going to do? Will you not send down your fire of judgement?

Let your name be magnified once more.

Amen.

01 12 20 Prayer

The Only Way

“Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:  because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”

St. Matthew 7:13-14.

Lord Jesus Christ if we are going to live as your disciples we need to remember that all noble things are difficult. How we find the Christian life to be very difficult. However, the difficulty does not make us faint, rather it arouses us up to overcome.

This is because the redemption which is in Jesus Christ makes us marvel at the sovereign grace of God through the atonement of Jesus.

How wonderful! How marvellous! To know that God works in us to will and to do of His good pleasure. Yet it is our responsibility to work out that redemption in practical living. When we start on the basis of His redemption to do what you command O God.

Then we shall find that we can do it. Thank you God that you do give difficult things for us to do. In doing this we become through the many trials that by your grace you turn out many men and women with a strong family likeness to Jesus Christ.

Continue to do this in days of looking for a Christianity without the demands of the cross.

Lord Jesus Christ make your individual living stones who are built in you strong in thyself alone for your life to shine through us. Amen.

11 04 21 Prayer

True Love

“Lovest thou me.” St John 21:15

Lord Jesus what a Lord you are! You demand my love, my life, my all.

There is no small measure with you. What you say is what you expect. Yet what do you find?

A Christianity which centres on itself with a coldness to you. What a rejection of the greatest act of love the world has ever seen!

Greater love hath no man than he lay down his life for his friends.

Jesus your love is the love of God for you are God and you show what true love is to be.

My heart must ever have your love at its centre, a love which truly loves you, for this is the love of God shed abroad in a heart which has been given to its rightful owner, who is God Himself.

Amen.

Prayer 26 April 2021

In name of Jesus

St. John 16:26-27

Heavenly Father thy beloved Son Jesus has made known that prayer is to be made to you in His name. This is not as some formula for this is asking in His nature. For asking in His nature is by those who are His and understand their position in Him so as to have become so intimate with Him that they have become one with Him.

The day which Jesus speaks about is not for some future day for it is the here and now. Heavenly Father as Jesus knew your heart and mind so by the baptism of the Holy Ghost may there be that realisation of being lifted into the heavenly places where He can make known the counsels of God to us.

This is asked that you shall be glorified in the Son. Amen.

Prayer 25 May 2021

Worship

“Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.”

Psalm 29:2

Lord God Almighty Thou art and beside Thee there is none other. Thou art majestic, sovereign and all-glorious.

All heaven sings praise unto Thee. The beasts of the field, the birds of the air, the trees and the flowers show forth Thy glory in the earth.

Thou art to be worshipped in the beauty of holiness from a cleansed and pure heart.

Then Thou art given Thy rightful place here on the earth for this is giving Thee the glory which is to be given to Thy Holy Name.

Amen.

Prayer 09 November 2021

“But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord

“Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name.”

Philippians 2:9

Lord Jesus Christ Thou art exalted at the right hand of the Father having all authority in heaven and on earth.

Thou hast conquered hell and Satan and death. Thy name is higher than every name. Thou alone are the exalted Son of God. All this because you humbled thyself at the cross accepting death when death was not in thee.

Thou alone, the sinless one, taking the place of sinners. One perfect offering for sin never to be repeated. Never needing to be added to. So perfect was the offering of thy blood to a holy, pure and righteous God. Let all mortal flesh keep silence and give thee thy rightful place in their lives.

Thy death alone with the redemption through thy blood could reconcile repentant sinners and bring them into the banqueting house where thy banner over them is love. Amen.
