Primitive Methodism

1)  TUNSTALL:

For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

1 John chapter 3 verse 8

Lord Jesus Christ my heart is full of love for you. My whole body is saturated with God. May I live continually in brokenness so that the Holy Ghost can do everything He wants to do through me. On 7 July 2012 your friend was taken to Tunstall in England.

On arrival in the town square I knew that there was to be a drop in centre for broken lives. Just like you Lord to lead me to the man who owned the very building I had already claimed and dedicated for this purpose.

The man also had a longing to start a drop in centre for those in need. Lord as the first ten verses of Jeremiah were read outside of what had been the first Primitive Methodist chapel prayer was then made to destroy all the works of the devil in Manchester University which through higher criticism had destroyed Primitive Methodism and infiltrated many other movements. Prayer was further made to restore the principles of Primitive Methodism to the teachings of Christianity today.

Praise you Lord that all the works of Satan in this square were cast out in your name and that once again the preaching of the gospel will be restored in Tunstall. Although there was much opposition to the prayer from those outside a public house the work has been done. Lord Jesus Christ once again take your rightful place in Tunstall .

May the Holy Ghost convict of sin and cause many to cry out what must I do to be saved. This prayer seeks only to bring honour to your holy name. Amen.

2) MOW COP:

If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.

St John chapter 12 verse 26

Lord Jesus Christ may we be like unto yourself in that we like yourself are prepared to say , nevertheless not my will but thine be done.

Jesus you gave your all for us as you submitted yourself to all the will of your Father. There was no thought of self but from a heart of love you were prepared to die so that we might live. Lord may your heart of sacrificial love be ours day by day so that as we die to self others through us can be brought both to know you and then into a life which gives all to you.

In the 1900’s there used to be camp meetings held at Mow Cop in Staffordshire, England. These meetings would have brought those who attended into a deeper knowledge of yourself. On 7 July 2012 your friend was taken to Mow Cop in order to pray for the restoration of all that these camp meetings had done in the past. Lord, although times have changed the principles remain the same.

May we  restore the vision of these camp meetings. Lord when Chapel Pentecost is built please bring many to receive the old teachings of the camp meetings so that Christians in our day will hear the full surrender message as like yourself they will come to say nevertheless not my will but thine be done.

This prayer seeks only to bring honour and glory to your holy name Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
