Revival

1)  06 July 2013

Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

Hebrews chapter 7 verse 25

Lord Jesus Christ just to know that I am saved is a joy to my heart for it fills me with Yourself, that love which laid itself down for sinners like me.  O the blood of Jesus with its cleansing power to wash away all my sin and save to the uttermost.  Lord what love, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us that we should be called the sons of God.

Once sons of the devil now sons of God, heirs and joint heirs in thee O blessed Jesus.  Now through the veil into the holiest of all keep me from all uncleanness and to be continuously cleansed by thy blood.  This is personal, daily revival.  Lord what a wonderful life it is to live ‘within the veil’ day after day.

This is at a price though Lord for self cannot abide in you blessed Savior but the Holy Spirit deals with those who are willing to be made willing to let the person of the Holy Spirit live His life through them.  What a life Lord, none more blessed on earth can there be when all is given to thee and self is replaced by Yourself.

Few, though, Lord will walk these deep paths with thyself for unlike Paul they are not prepared to say what was gain to me was lose to thee.  This prayer seeks only to bring honour and glory to the name of our God.  Amen.

2) Prayer 28 March 2014

His train filled the temple

Isaiah chapter 6 verse 1

Father God when you demonstrate your reality, that is God sent revival.  This has nothing to do with the revivalism of our day which comes from man’s ideas and is man-centered. In God sent revival there is God-consciousness, there is the sense that you are right beside us and that God is real.

O God thy train filled the temple and demonstrated your reality to Isaiah. In these days the people of God are your temple to be filled with the awesome reality of God. To those who are already in union and fellowship with Thyself in Christ there is that deep sense of abandonment to be committed to all of the will of God.

Lord those who are in union with Christ although few there may be are from the remnant Church. Father God in these dark days of an apostate church and hell bound sinners unaware of the danger before them may you once more become a reality as you were to our forefathers. O God let there be constant and continuous prayer that Your presence will be so intensified so that saint and sinner alike will have no doubts that God is a present reality.

This prayer seeks only to bring honor to the name of our God. Amen.

3) Prayer: 21 05 14

Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall and prayed unto the LORD.

Isaiah chapter 38 verse 2

Almighty and everlasting God your servant Hezekiah looked to gain your ear as he turned to you in prayer. May there be an awakening amongst your people as to the need to pray, to pray to Thyself in earnestness in these days of spiritual apathy. Lord stir thy people to seek your face for the days are dark and your honor is at stake. Hezekiah came into line with thyself in his prayer and you answered the desire of his heart.

Lord may your people be brought into line with your divine purposes and be the means of bringing your purposes to birth. Lord in times when anything else except prayer is seen as more important show that prayer is the source of all divine activity and the fuel of divine response. Lord take away the blindness which devalues prayer and raise the necessity of prayer to the highest place in the lives of your people. Lord show thy people that when prayer in the Holy Spirit is the greatest activity in the Church then you release your almighty power in unmeasurable measure.

This prayer is only for the glory of our God for it is asked in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

4) Prayer: 28th. May 2014

And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

St Matthew chapter 21 verse 22

Gracious God your Son Jesus always started His day in prayer and depended upon yourself in prayer throughout the day. Jesus gave the example of the necessity of prayer. O God when our blessed Savior and Lord was totally dependent upon prayer why do your people not take prayer seriously in these days?

Can there be a greater privilege than to be able to speak with our Heavenly Father? How our hearts are warmed with thy divine love as we listen and speak in communion with thyself. Just to know that we can have fellowship with thyself by drawing aside to be alone with you or to keep in touch with you throughout the day with a quiet lifting of the heart to you.

Lord may the prayer of thy people be a sweet smelling Savor. Lord grant that there will be the desire by all thy people to come before thee in prayer and the prayer meeting to be taken seriously or one started should there not be one. O God let thy people rediscover that Satan trembles when thy people are asking you in prayer in line with your will and believing that you will answer the prayer.

This prayer is asked only for the glory of our God as Jesus said whatsoever we ask we shall receive so this must be so. Amen.

5) Prayer: 11 June 2014

Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?

Psalm 85 verse 7

Almighty and everlasting God you are the unchangeable God who is from everlasting to everlasting God. You have no beginning and no end for you have declared that I am that I am. O God in your Son Jesus you have provided access to yourself for the redeemed can come with singing, can come with joy into your presence. There is that new and living way to know you as both God and Father, to be able to say heavenly Father because of the blood of your Son Jesus who made an atonement for our sin. May we never forget the cost of our redemption when the shedding of the blood of God Himself was the only means of reconciling hell deserving sinners with Himself.

Yet O God the heart can soon grow cold as eyes are turned away from Jesus. Lord ever keep our hearts upon Jesus for He gave His all for us and demands our all for Him. O God how your heart must grieve over the sin which is deep rooted in Christianity, a Christianity of man’s thinking today instead of taking up our own cross daily and letting Christ live His life through us in the person of the Holy Spirit.

A life which is totally abandoned to all of thy will and none of our own. O God revive us again and burn out the chaff and dross of sin so that there will be lives manifesting Jesus, lives of personal purity, His purity. This prayer is asked in the name of Jesus that God will be all in all. Amen.

6)  Prayer - Humility

God resisteth the proud but giveth grace unto the humble.

James 4:6

Heavenly Father in these days when there is so much talk about a need for revival may those who know your Son as Saviour be determined to receive holiness of life.  Much of what calls itself Christianity and church is full of pride for there are those who are concerned with their own selves rather than what your Word teaches. There is a pushing forward of their own selves instead of knowing the humility as shown in the life of Jesus.

Father may there be a revival of seeking holiness of life for there is found true humility. This is the place where Jesus alone is magnified. This is the place of revival for when you have those you can trust because they seek not the glory for themselves, it is then that the humble shall go forth in your power.

To you be all the glory Heavenly Father for this is asked in the name of your Son Jesus Christ so that you will be glorified in the Son. Amen.

8) 03 08 15  Prayers

1.Shaking all which can be shaken

And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains.

Revelation 6:15

Almighty God whose final word has been made through your Son Jesus Christ shake all which can be shaken in these days so that He and He alone will be King of kings and Lord of lords. Your word in this verse speaks of a time coming which shall be so fearful that those who think they are in control in this world will flee to try and hid from your wrath. Ones who have had their chance to repent and have rejected the offer of the way of repentance and forgiveness through the cleansing of their sin by the blood of Jesus Christ. O God is it too late already for men’s hearts are failing them for fear?

O God whilst your Son has not yet returned in His second coming to take from this world those who are His will you not still draw hell deserving sinner’s to Him and give them a chance to repent? For your Word shows that out of every nation there will come those who shall worship the Lamb who was slain to cleanse repentant sinners and present them spotless unto yourself.

The Lamb who is your Son Jesus Christ through whom this prayer is asked so that you shall be continuously glorified in the Son. Amen.

  • Heartbreak, temptation, sickness

And when He was alone, they that were about him with the twelve asked of Him.

St. Mark 4:10

Father God may we understand that there are times when you get us alone by heartbreak, temptation, sickness, or many other means. Let us accept that this is all part of your training just like Jesus had to train His disciples. The disciples could not always understand the ways of Jesus and asked Him to explain. As we go on with Jesus, Father, may we accept that the only thing God wants to be clear to us is the way God deals with our own souls’.

It is not our concern over how you are dealing with our brothers’ and sisters’ in Christ. May the Holy Spirit show us any ignorance and stubbornness in our hearts so that whatever it be can be brought to the cleaning fountain of the blood of Jesus. This He can do when we put aside the many questions and come alone with Him to hear Him speak to our souls. Father God may you be glorified in the Son for this is asked in His name. Amen.

9) Prayer - 18 December 2015

Worship from a Pure Heart

Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.

Psalm 100:1

O God how you delight to hear worship which is offered in spirit and in truth. For this is true worship. It is worship from the heart and gives you your rightful place at the centre of both the individual believer and the congregations of believers. Both words and music which is in harmony with yourself and joining with that vast company already surrounding your throne and in worship.

That which worships the Lamb of God for whom He is the eternal Son of God in whom we have faith for He alone has made a perfect atonement for the redemption of sin. O God may your people delight in the supernatural grace of God. The opposite, though, has become the norm as demonic beats have taken over much of what is now called worship.

Whether the beat of heavy metal or the repetitious lulling beat of the charismatics these are of other spirits under the control of the god of this world. O God through the true Spirit, the Holy Spirit expose these demonic spirits who are deafening great numbers into devil worship without knowing that they have been deceived. O God have mercy and be worshipped as you should be worshipped in spirit and in truth from a pure heart. Amen.
