Salvation

1)  And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

Hebrews chapter 10 verse 17

Lord Jesus Christ our hearts rejoice in you for once we were lost but now we are found because we are found in you.  No longer in the hopeless mire of our sin but knowing that we are justified and reconciled once and for evermore.  How can we thank you enough dear Jesus.

We cannot thank you enough.  However, when our hearts pour out love for you we know that our beloved is ours and we are yours.  O that those who have repented of their sin and been forgiven would take hold of this and not keep looking within them believing that they need further deliverance.

Lord the Bible declares “ Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus.” Lord we are able through no merits of our own to enter into the holiest of all: our all sufficient entrance is through you.   What an entrance, though, awaits those who enter.

To enter once into all that you have for us.  No longer paupers of the devil but sons and heirs of God.  Lord Jesus to know with certainty that we are washed, we are clean.  What an abomination comes before you when you see an industry of deliverance being carried out in your name.

Those who should have accepted by faith that they have had their sins forgiven.  Lord, destroy this lie of the devil that there is to be an ongoing work of deliverance.  The Word makes clear that following repentance sins and iniquities are remembered no more.

Lord may your Church obey your command to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.  Lord, in your name Jesus destroy the evil, deceiving spirit from hell which ensnares Christians so that they are continually looking inward at themselves.

Lord, instead of weak, insipid and powerless Christians grant a fresh visitation from heaven, the infilling of the baptism of the Holy Spirit to receive power.  The power to live a holy life: the power to be separated from all that is unclean: the power to destroy the strongholds of Satan: the power to fulfil your command to take the gospel to every creature.

This prayer seeks only to bring honour and glory to the name of our God.  Amen.

2)  09 11 12

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Romans chapter 8 verse 1

Lord Jesus Christ you are worthy to receive glory and honour and power and blessing for you are the Lamb of God who offered Himself as the only acceptable sacrifice for sin. Lord this prayer is for those who are saved, for God wants us to be holy. He wants us to be filled with a power that keeps us holy. He wants us to have a revelation of what sin and death are, and what the Spirit and life of the Spirit are. Lord, what a revelation to know that there is “ No condemnation.”

Thank you, Lord, to know this position for then we can pray through. For in you Lord Jesus we are in the place where we cannot but follow the divine leadings of the Spirit of Christ, where we have no fellowship with the world. Lord may this be written upon the hearts of all who claim to know you as Saviour and Lord: that if we love the world we cannot love God, and the love of God cannot be in us. Lord may all who claim to know you realise that to be “in Christ” is to be a new creation. This is to be in Him; to belong to a new creation in the Spirit. This prayer seeks only to bring honour to the name of our God. Amen.

3)  10 11 12

Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

St John chapter 15 verse 16

Lord Jesus Christ may each member of your Church have revealed unto them by the Holy Spirit their position in Christ. Lord we see you foreshadowing blessings that were to come. Most of your ministry was a type of what each believer was to enter into. Lord may we see what God had in mind to do through you for us. Lord bring before us always what is the mind of the Spirit concerning us so that we may step into all the privileges. O may we realise that God wants a strong people. May we grasp hold that when the Spirit says anything to us He will give the power to see it through.

Lord may your Church realise a fresh the person of the Holy Spirit and His work in relation to the Church. May we too follow the example of the men and women of the past who have applied your Word fully to their lives. Lord as we come into this blessed state of holy reverence for the Word of God then we will be built up and made strong. This prayer seeks only to bring honour to the name of our God. Amen.

4)  15 11 12

Who hath saved us, and hath called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began.

2 Timothy chapter 1 verse 9

Lord Jesus Christ thank you that the Holy Ghost came to give the vision of a life in which you are perfected. Lord we are saved through the cleansing of your precious blood. We are called to be saints and have a calling which is to be holy and pure. We are to be God-like sons with power. Sin has no more dominion over us for those who know the second blessing as they no long live but Christ lives in them know what it is to reign in Christ.

Lord may your Church come to know this second blessing which is received through surrendering the believers life to the Holy Ghost who then does the work of sanctification within the believer. Lord your word states that we should be holy as you are holy. Lord why does your Church sleep with the hindrance of mortality. Lord awaken your Church to see that you call us to be risen with Christ and seek those things which are above where you are seated. Lord Jesus please open the hearts of those who are born again to see that there is a further step to take in order to be fully sanctified.

May there be a move of the Holy Ghost upon your Church to bring believers to the place where they should be, seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. This prayer seeks only to bring honour and glory to the name of our God. Amen.

5)  16 11 12

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God.

Romans chapter 12 verse 2

Lord Jesus Christ thank you that through the cleansing of your precious blood we know that our sins are forgiven. When we have tasted that the Lord is good then, Lord, the world holds no attraction for us. Instead God wants to make us pillars, honourable, strong and holy. O what an assurance to know that God will take us on.  What a joy to have the great fact that we can be transformed by the renewing of our minds so that we can prove what is that good, and acceptable and perfect will of God. Lord may your people have the name of Jesus ever before them so that the moment they pray they get right into heaven and the glory descends and faith is active and the light dispels the darkness. Jesus you are the light and no one who receives the light through you walks in darkness.  In the world there is darkness but Lord you have overcome the world. May all who love you, Lord, know what it is to overcome the world so that as you are already our life we know that when you shall appear, w e also shall appear with you in glory. This prayer asks you Lord for the deepening of the spiritual life of those who call you Saviour and Lord and seeks only to bring honour to the name of our God. Amen.

6)  19 11 12

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

St Matthew chapter 6 verse 33

Lord Jesus Christ may our hearts be moved so that we have a real longing for Yourself. O that there will be a realisation that no one can be saved by feelings or excitement. Lord may there be a realisation that salvation is only by the Word of the Lord. Lord in these days when there are many enemies of Your cross may there be a fresh emphasis on preaching which is based on the Word of God and shows that You Lord Jesus are the only way to the Father. When we realise that you are the only way and we have repented of our sin and been cleansed through your precious blood all else in life pales into insignificance. Then we know the true purpose in life which is to seek His kingdom and His righteousness and not to substitute God with things or people. Thank you, Lord, that through You our hearts are fully satisfied as we rest in God as God is all in all to us. This prayer seeks only to bring honour to the name of our God. Amen.

7)  21 11 12

And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there.

Acts of the Apostles chapter 20 verse 22

Lord Jesus Christ thank you for so great salvation. Redeemed, redeemed, should be our song for those who know you as Saviour have been redeemed through your own blood which has washed and cleansed our sin. O to know that you were a man who had flesh and blood like ourselves. Even though you were the incarnation of divine authority and power and majesty of the glory of heaven you still bore about in you body our flesh, our human weaknesses, tempted in all points like we are yet without sin. Jesus you are so lovely, such a perfect Saviour. Jesus there is salvation, life, power and deliverance through your name. Jesus what comfort to know that you were led by the Spirit. In this verse, Lord, we read that Paul was “bound” in the Spirit. What a condescension of heaven that God should lay hold of humanity and possess him with His holiness, with His righteousness, with His truth, with His faith, that Paul could say “ I am bound, I have no choice.” Lord just as Paul showed that the only choice was for God so may we leave the choice in our own lives to God so that at all times we prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God to the glory of God the Father. This prayer seeks only to bring honour to the name of our God. Amen.

8)  23 11 12

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Philippians chapter 4 verse 8

Lord Jesus Christ our eyes are upon you for in you we find all that is needed for our Christian walk. For in you dear Lord is a life of perfect deliverance and this is where God wants us to be. Lord make us aware that if our peace is disturbed in any way then this is the enemy who is trying to work. We know this to be the case, Lord, because the scriptures have promised to keep us our minds in perfect peace when they are stayed on the Lord.  Furthermore, Lord, as we think about that which is pure, we become pure. As we think about that which is holy, we become holy. As we think about you Lord Jesus Christ, we become like you. Lord, may your body, the Church, be changed into your likeness as you become all in all as the things of the world grow dim in the light of your holiness.  This prayer seeks only to bring honour to the name of our God. Amen. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation.

9)  08 12 12

And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Acts of the Apostles chapter 1 verse 21

Lord Jesus Christ you are the Lord of glory. Lord you have won my love, every last bit for you are my lovely Jesus. I shall never be able to stop thanking you for taking my place on Calvary’s cross for it was my sin which condemned you to accept death in the sinners place. Jesus how can I comprehend your love as I consider that even if I had been the only sinner that there had ever been you would have still died for my sin.

Thank you Jesus for the cleansing of your precious blood which is the power of God unto salvation. O Jesus, blessed Jesus, death could not hold you for you rose triumphant, ascended into heaven and are glorified as you sit at the right hand of the Father having all power in heaven and upon earth.

Lord even if you were able to find just a few believers who would realise your rightful place as sovereign Lord and pray along those lines the resistance of the powers of hell would be destroyed and your command to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature would be fulfilled. Lord you are God. Please hear this cry and find those who will act in belief because they are totally submitted to the Holy Spirit and it is not self which believes but the Holy Spirit believing through them. O for those at this time who can touch the throne of God in prayer.

Lord this cry is for those remote groups of people in the world who are from the human standpoint have proved difficult to reach. Lord whether these be people groups with none known believers, a difficult to reach Filipino group, Somalia, Afghanistan, Iran, Saudi Arabia, The Maldives, North Korea, Uzbekistan or wherever the devil places barriers in the way, in your name Lord Jesus Christ, that name higher than every other name I bind the strongman and loose the captives so that they can come to know you as their Saviour. Jesus why can I have such confidence in you? It is because the Word of God states that you are at the right hand of God far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come. Not only this Jesus but it is further stated that all things have been put under your feet meaning you have already crushed the devil and all his forces so the devil has to give way.

Lord Jesus take the pre eminence and plunder the devil’s goods to the glory of God the Father. Thank you Jesus that vast numbers of souls in places where you have been shut out for too long will be able to call upon the name of the Lord and be saved. This prayer seeks only to bring honour to the name of our God. Amen.

10)  09 12 12

Then he saith unto them, It is I; be not afraid.

St John chapter 6 verse 20

Lord Jesus Christ what assurance is found in you. For all who place their trust in you as Saviour there is the knowledge of sins forgiven and life everlasting. Lord may we always keep before us that it was for the joy which was set before you that you endured the cross, despising the shame. O the blood, the precious blood which cleanses the foulest sinner clean. None is beyond hope of forgiveness as you laid your life down for the whosoever will come can come.

Jesus, blessed Jesus, you have conquered death and him who had the power of death. Lord you are the first fruits of the resurrection. Because you have risen from the dead all who have received you into their lives have also received your resurrection life. Jesus there is an enemy who holds millions of people in fear. He plays on their minds through religions which embrace superstitions and breed fear. There are also those who live in fear continually even though they hold no religious beliefs. Surely, Lord, this is not right for the word of God states that perfect love casts out fear. Jesus your love is perfect for you have shown what perfect love is by laying down your life for your friends.

The Bible also shows that there is a God who loved the world so much that he sent his only begotten Son that whosoever believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. O Lord what a promise which millions have not heard. Lord Jesus will you not give the millions living in fear the chance to find you as God? Lord you have destroyed the works of the devil at Calvary’s cross. Lord apply the victory of Calvary and your glorious resurrection by giving the chance of knowing you as Saviour and Lord to the millions who are still living in fear. As with the disciples in the storm and all those who know you as Saviour and Lord, let the millions who live in fear be able to hear the words “ It is I; be not afraid.” This prayer seeks only to bring honour and glory to the name of our God. Amen.

11)  02 06 13

St John chapter 5 verses 28 and 29

Lord Jesus Christ the truths of the resurrection to life or the resurrection to damnation are truths which need to be made known once more whether sinners like them or not.  Lord there is no exception for all must face eternity sooner or later.  Lord throughout the world today there is a total indifference to the necessity to prepare for Eternity.

There is an evil deceiving spirit which has crawled out of the pit of hell and needs exposing into your own light and truth.  This evil deceiving spirit goes under the name of universalism.  It is being said that everyone from every religion or no religion will go to heaven.  A religious leader has even said that atheists will go to heaven.  Lord bring this lie right out into the open as a deception from hell designed to send unrepentant sinners to the everlasting torments of hell.  Lord Jesus Christ your honour is at stake for this lie denies that there was the need for you to die on the cross and shed your blood in order to reconcile repentant sinners to a holy God.

Lord how can I trust you again unless you honour your covenant promises that you would build your Church and the gates of hell would not prevail.  The gates of hell are in danger of destroying your Church for  legions of devils have come against your command to take the gospel to every creature in order for your Church to continue  be built.  Lord Jesus Christ where is the deep conviction of sin of years ago when sinners cried out for mercy?

Lord raise up preachers who will once again proclaim that sinners must repent and be born again as the only way to God lest at the resurrection they find themselves in hell, cut off from God forever.  This prayer seeks only to bring honour and glory to the name of our God.  Amen.

12) Prayer 11 04 15

Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood He entered in once unto the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

Hebrews 9:12

Heavenly Father there was no hope for guilty sinners for the blood of goats and calves could only cover sins instead of bringing forgiveness. What grace, what love when we were without hope knowing in your sight our sinfulness rebelled against your holiness you then provided your own acceptable sacrifice for sin. A Lamb, a spotless Lamb, the Lamb of God Himself, your own Son Jesus.

Unlike the high priest who once a year went into the holiest place in the temple to offer sacrifice to cover sin after first offering a sacrifice for his own sins Jesus the sinless one offered Himself. We the condemned. He the sinners substitute took upon Himself our sins so that we through repentance of sin and receiving the cleansing of His blood have received a Royal Pardon from the Holy God who now has become our Father.

What a Saviour, what a God, the only God who can forgive sin took our place so that we are now made righteousness unto God for this is Jesus righteousness within us. Heavenly Father this prayer is for your Glory for it is made through your Son Jesus. Amen.

13)  Prayer 25 05 15

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under Heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Acts of the Apostles 4:12

Father thy Word makes clear that no one can be saved from sin, that is its guilt, its power, and its consequences excepting by Jesus Christ your only begotten Son. For no one can have peace with you God the Father except this is through the atonement and mediation of Jesus Christ. Christ’s blood alone can cleanse us; Christ’s righteousness alone can clothe us; Christ’s merit alone can give us a title to Heaven.

Father may the Holy Spirit open the hearts of all who try to obtain salvation by any other way to see that this is not acceptable in thy sight. The whole of salvation of our souls is to be ventured on Christ and on Christ only. In a world where souls are being deceived by false spirits speaking of other ways make plain the way according to the Word of God. This way is not the way being given even in much of that which calls itself Christianity or Church.

Neither is it the way of other religions. We are to cast loose completely and entirely from all other hopes and trusts. There can be no resting partly on Christ, partly on doing all we can, partly on keeping our church, partly on receiving the sacrament. In the matter  of our justification Christ is to be all.

Father this prayer seeks the salvation of lost souls from every kindred, tribe and nation and is for thy glory alone. This is asked in the name that you are unable to deny that of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen.

14)  Prayer - Repentance & The Blood of Christ Jesus

Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.

Acts of the Apostles 3:19

Heavenly Father in these last days cause thy people to be engaged in extravagant asking. Days when it is an offence to talk about the blood of Christ. Father the Holy Spirit will always deal with truth. Cause there to both an extravagance of praying and an extravagance of preaching in the Holy Spirit which defies the dead religion of these days. Prayer and preaching which dares to speak of the blood of Jesus as the means of cleansing repentant sinners from their sin.

Father stir up your people to go against the accepted norm and not only speak of the blood of Jesus and call sinners to repentance but also expose the lies of preachers who deny that there is a devil and deny that there is a hell. Blast these untruths out of the way and bring in preaching which dares to call sinners to repent and to have their sins washed away by the blood of Jesus.

Then, Father, according to your Word which you must honour, will come revival, for revival is the presence of the Lord in our midst. This prayer is for thy glory for it is with the expectation that your supernatural answers will again be seen in our midst for this is asked and received in the all- powerful name of your Son our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ so that you will be glorified in the Son. Amen.

15)  Prayer - Repentance

The time is fulfilled and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

St. Mark 1:15

Father your timing is always perfect. You sent your Son to fulfil that which was needed to bring in the kingdom of God. What a message Jesus came with for the word was to repent. He knew that without repentance there could be no forgiveness of sin.

He who John the Baptist saw as the Lamb of God called for a response to His call to repent. He who knew no sin became the sin offering so that repentant sinners could have their sins washed away by His precious blood. Father in these days where to speak of sin is not taken seriously let there be a boldness to once more call sinners to repentance.

Anointed preachers today just like your servant of years ago Charles Finney who are filled with the Holy Spirit proclaiming as Jesus did for a turning away from sin by deep repentance and receiving a new life through a cleansed heart, a heart like that of Jesus Himself.

Father have mercy in these dark and wicked days so that some may hear and repent and become sons and daughters of your own in the kingdom of God. Father it is for your glory and your glory alone that this is asked in the name of your Son the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

16)  06 07 15 Prayer - Healing

I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.

Exodus 23:25

Heavenly Father in these days the traditions of men have taken precedence over the Word of God. Men’s teachings which deny the supernatural power of God in healing saying this had ceased. Expose this as a lie of the devil for, Father, does not your Word say ‘Jesus Christ the same yesterday, to day and forever’?

This must be so today otherwise these words about Jesus are not true. Father the confident expectation is that in these days will be seen once more as in the days of Jesus earthy ministry and the early church Him still to be the healer.

May the Lord Jesus by His Spirit work through those who are His to heal sickness and show that there is still wonder working power in His blood. Father let no man be magnified for the praise shall be for Jesus. With the utmost confidence that this shall be so, Father, this is asked for your glory as it is asked in the name of your Son Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

17)  17 07 15 Prayer for Souls to be Saved

Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

Acts of the Apostles 2:47

Heavenly Father where is the expectancy in these days for souls to be ‘added to the church daily such as should be saved’? The denying of your supernatural power and miracles has reduced the church to be no better than the world for it has a form of religion but denies the power.

Stir up thy people O Lord! Cause them to seek thy presence to bring those mighty outpourings of thy Spirit: Blessings which are promised to those who have decided to cleanse themselves. Lift O Lord thy people from the place of mediocrity so as to see a restoration of the supernatural and the miraculous which so marked the early church. Signs and wonders carried out in the Holy Spirit drew souls to want to repent of sin and come to the cleansing fount of the blood of Jesus. O Lord cause souls to be aroused today to flee from the wrath to come as thy preachers are no longer afraid to speak of hell and warn lost souls of that place of never-ending torment. O Lord cause thy people to cleanse themselves by turning away from and repenting of fornication, adultery, and uncleanness and anything which takes them out of thy presence.

Then O Lord with the cleanness comes thy presence, comes personal revival and comes the boldness to expect souls to be added to the church daily as the supernatural and the miraculous are once more the norm.

This prayer is asked Heavenly Father in the name of your Son Jesus Christ so, that you will be glorified in the Son. Amen.

18 07 15  Prayer on forgiveness of sins.

To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

Acts of the Apostles 26:18

Heavenly Father what a word we are given here! For a disciple of Jesus has had their eyes opened so that by grace they ‘may receive forgiveness of sins.’ O what joy there is to be saved for this is a most glorious experience. In these days of nominal Christians, Father, may there be knowledge that something has been received when eyes are opened.

Restore, O God, that preaching which shows conversion is not regeneration. For regeneration shows that when a man is born again he knows that this is so because he has received something as a gift from Almighty God and not because this was some decision of his own. In days where people register their vows and sign their cards in looking to be saved show this,

Father, not to be salvation. For salvation according to your Word is that we are brought to the place where we are able to receive something from God which on the authority of Jesus Christ is remission of sins. May this prayer bring glory to you Father for this is asked in the name of your Son Jesus Christ. Amen.

18)  Prayer 29 07 15

In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins.

Colossians 1:14

Father God what a comforting word is that of forgiven. One which no other faith can bring for no other faith has a Saviour who died for sinners. Your word tells us that ‘whilst we were yet sinners Christ died for the ungodly.’

Can this be so? It must be so for this forgiveness has all the authority of Almighty God speaking through His Infallible Word.  No greater could have sworn by this covenant made in the blood of His own Son. Father in times of tribulation where hearts are failing for fear and when even some from other faiths are questioning their faith use this opportunity for the furtherance of your kingdom. For it is kingdom prayers which are needed in these days.

Prayers which move you Father to bring those disillusioned with their own faith to yourself because they have seen that which their own faith cannot provide. Forgiveness of sin. The blood of God’s own Son to wash away the sins of repentant sinners.

What a God we have who gave His own Son to be the one perfect sacrifice for sin to atone the wrath of God. This prayer is asked in the name of your Son Jesus Christ so that you Father will be glorified in the Son. Amen.

19) 24 08 15 Prayer

  • The never-ending supply of the life of God.

Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

St. John 3:3

Heavenly Father O what a work of God you have done in each one who has been born again of the Spirit. A work so mysterious yet unmistakably a work of God. We do not know where this work begins for it is hidden away in the depths of our lives.

What we do know is that once born again of the Spirit there is a freshness in talking, thinking and living all the time. Father my life will then always be fresh and never stale for it is the Holy Spirt Himself who alone will continuously pour into my being the rivers of living water which your Son Jesus spoke about.

Then Father there shall be a continuous new vision which will keep me and everyone else who has been born again absolutely fresh for everything each day because of the never-ending supply of the life of God.

To you, Father, be all the glory for this is asked and received in the name of your Son Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

  • Burn conviction into the hearts of sinners

His word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones.

Jeremiah 20:9

Almighty God failures come when we limit the Holy One of Israel. In these days of false prophets and false teachers who speak their own words instead of your Word find those who will dare to have a living faith to believe God’s Word.

When we are baptised not only with the Holy Spirit but with fire too then God’s consuming fire cannot be throttled. This has to be so for to be baptised with the Holy Spirit and fire is to be baptised into your Son Jesus. Because of this the fire is always there to consume the dross both in our own lives and challenge the dross in the lives of those who hear our preaching and conversation.

O God cause us to be men and women consumed with the fire of God today ever energised in the secret place ready to go out with a message which will burn conviction into the hearts of sinners. O God let this fearless flaming fierceness once again be declared in authority.

An authority which has been lost through a Christianity which is like a wet blanket because it is without a voice and a message. O God this is asked and received in the name of the one who is our fire that of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. Amen.

18 08 15  Prayer

  • He is risen

Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.

St. Mark 16:6

Father God our cry is He is risen, He is risen. Raised because you raised Him. Raised because death could not hold Him. Alive, alive for evermore. Because He lives so will all who have been crucified with Him and raised in Him unto a new life, His life within them. O death where is thy sting? O grave where is thy victory? Gone for they are swallowed up in the glorious triumph of thy Son O Father.

Your plan of salvation has been outworked for all who are prepared to become partakers of the death of Jesus Christ, so all then can become partakers of His resurrection life. What a God we have Father in that not only can sins be forgiven when we repent of our sins we can be delivered from the power of sin.

Father may this glorious message of sins forgiven and the resurrection life of Jesus Christ within all who have received Him sound loud and clear to hell-bound sinners to call them to repentance before it is too late because Jesus has returned to take from this earth those who alone are His. Father this prayer is asked in the name of your Son Jesus Christ that you will be glorified in the Son. Amen.

02 09 15  Prayer

The Holy Ghost hath made you overseers to feed the church of God which he hath purchased with his own blood.

Acts of the Apostles 20:28

Father what depths there are in these words. For it was your own Son who purchased redemption through His own blood, a free and full salvation. The gift of God to undeserving sinners. A work of grace within the heart to bring repentant sinners into communication with God. Father new lambs needing feeding. New possibilities with a new life the life within, the life of Jesus Christ.

Lambs, though, who need feeding with the Word of God so as to prevent them being devoured by the wolves who teach the ideas of men not based on the Word of God. Father may the Holy Ghost separate for the work of God overseers who will have nothing to do with the ideas of men and all to do with the Word of God. Men filled with the Holy Ghost and fire. Men intent on one thing alone in doing the will of God for the glory of God.

This prayer is asked in the sure and certain knowledge that when a prayer is in the will of God for the glory of God it will be answered. Father is for your glory and asked in the name which you cannot deny, that of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

17 09 15 Prayers

  • The wonder of God.

My soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is.

Psalm 63:1

O God show me thy glory. My soul thirsts for thee, my whole being cries out to thee for I must have that taste, that touch of all that is the wonder of God. Open mine eyes that I may see, open my heart that it shall become thine own. O God in days where there is shallowness because the church looks to provide entertainment to amuse instead of the truths of a Saviour who died for sinners and the depths of a life filled with God, turn us to seek yourself.

For who is seeking for God alone rather than the spirit of the age which demands God plus something else, that something being the entertainment and amusement of those who have never come to know the living God as a living person. O God open hearts to seek and find you then having found to then thirst after the deep things of God. These you will give to those who ask for they are seeking thee for who you are and not for self-centred reasons.  O God this is asked through thy Son Jesus Christ so that you shall be glorified in the Son. Amen.

  • Seeing as God sees.

Jesus did not commit Himself unto them…for He knew what was in man.

St. John 2:24-25

Heavenly Father may we see men and women as they really are. To see them as God sees them so that we have no bitter things to say of them. May we have your love within our hearts, a love which loves the person for who they are even should they not be a brother or sister in Christ.

For it is only your love as seen in Jesus Christ which can satisfy the human heart. Even then our Lord Jesus appears to be so severe regarding every human relationship because He knows that every relationship not based on loyalty to Himself will end in disaster.

May we who know the experience of the life of Jesus working within us that perfect confidence in God and what His grace can do for any man to be so perfect that like Him we despair of no one.

To your glory Father this prayer is asked in the name of Jesus. Amen.

The supernatural work of saving repentant sinners

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Proverbs 3:6

O God in these days there is rebellion by not acknowledging yourself. Man thinks he knows what he wants and centres his life on anything and everything rather than seeking after God. Yet man was created to be God conscious and to be directed in the ways of God. For you created man in your own image and know that man can never be satisfied until he is satisfied in yourself. O God will you draw to yourself once again men and women as has been recorded of times past when the Holy Spirit convicted sinners and showed them the depravity of man.

What a work of grace for as the God of all grace you have provided so great salvation through the cleansing blood of your Son, Jesus Christ. There is barrenness in preaching today which is almost apologetic to men and women by suggesting that they receive Jesus. There is nothing in this which is according to your Word.

Restore in the place of such false preaching and teaching O God the supernatural work of saving repentant sinners as men and women yield to you for yielding has been taken out of preaching and teaching. This prayer is asked for your glory O God as it is asked through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

  • A love which very few know

For the love of Christ constraineth us.

2 Corinthians 5:14

Heavenly Father what love is spoken about by your servant Paul. This is a love which very few know for it means to be held in a grip by the love of God. For here we are held by the constraint of our experience only. Father what a place to be for there the Spirit of God is getting His unhindered way .

O God let there be such an out-pouring of your Spirit in baptism in these days that it will make those who are baptised in the Spirit mighty witnesses unto Jesus. Then in this new relationship all that happens to us will be taken as happening to Jesus. It will no longer matter whether this is praise or blame, persecution or commendation. This is the only thing which matters.

May we too like Paul be so abandoned to the love of Jesus Christ that this will always leave the impression of the holiness and of the power of God and not anything of our personal holiness. Father this prayer as asked in the name which is above all other names that of your Son Jesus Christ so that you shall be glorified in the Son. Amen.

Healing

And he put them all out.

St. Luke 8:54

Father how we see your love and compassion in your Son Jesus Christ. When Jairus came to you seeking help because his daughter was dying Jesus responded and went with Jairus. What Jesus found on His arrival at the house was unbelief.

There were those who had gathered there supposedly to mourn who laughed at Jesus when He said the daughter was not dead. Jesus’ response was to put those who did not believe outside of the house before He could work the miracle. Your servant Smith Wigglesworth would also put out of the meeting any who had unbelief for healing will not take place where there is unbelief.

Father write upon the hearts of your people in these days of unbelief that when there is belief in your Son then miracles of healing will still take place. For your glory Father this is asked through Jesus Christ. Amen.

  • The Overcomer

Arise from the dead.

Ephesians 5:14

Father there may have been times when we have had visions and ideals but then we found that we had no power to make these real. We are unable to do the things we long to do and accept that the visions and ideals are dead. Father come and say ‘arise from the dead.’ For it is when the inspiration of God does come it comes with miraculous power so that we are able to ‘arise from the dead’ and do that which seemed impossible. Teach us Father that faith is a reaching out, a taking hold and as this is done then you give life as we overcome.

The inspiration is then there as we act on your promises. As we do the overcoming we will be inspired of God because He gives us life immediately. Father this prayer is that of the overcomer who acts in faith through the promises of your Word for this is received so that you shall be glorified in your Son Jesus Christ through whom this prayer is asked. Amen.

Healing

He was restored and saw every man clearly.

St. Mark 8:25

Father your Son Jesus not only has done all things well, He continues to do all things well. When Jesus came to Bethsaida a blind man was brought to Him. A man seeking healing, a man who showed what faith means for he was expectant that Jesus would bring him sight. What a wonderful touch Jesus applied to the man as He put His hands on the man’s eyes. The man although a little unclear at first then saw perfectly.

What a marvellous Jesus met the need of this man. Father as the scriptures say that Jesus is ‘the same yesterday, to day and forever’ then the day of miracles for healing the sick is not over. Let us reach out in faith for faith is which is active, not simply something to talk about.

Then, Father, at all times where faith hears the inner voice to act as Jesus then the miraculous will still take place as the healing touch has not ceased even though there are those who say miracles are not for today. For your glory Father this is asked in Jesus name so that you will always be glorified in the Son. Amen.

Hell

And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
St. Luke 16:23

Father these words of Jesus speaking about hell are not being taken seriously in these days. They are seen as not true so much has the devil blinded sinners to the need to repent of their sin. There are wolves in sheep clothing who although outwardly dressed as ministers of God do not have God living within them for they have not been born of God as Jesus spoke about to Nicodemus.

There are those who say they represent God yet do not accept the words of Jesus and do not preach them in warning to hell bound sinners. Not preaching of hell because they act as though they know more than Jesus. Hell was a real place to Jesus, for had there not been a hell He would not have needed to die on the cross and give His blood so that repentant sinners could be forgiven and reconciled with God. Father these are careless days when hell is denied and a message of universalism has filled most of what calls itself Christianity.

Father in your mercy bring to repentance before it is too late those who say that there is no hell. The rich man found this out too late and could not escape from the torments which he brought upon himself. Father in confidence this is asked through the name which is above all other names that of your Son Jesus Christ. Amen.

Sins Forgiven

And he said unto her, thy sins are forgiven.

St. Luke 7:48

Father these words of your Son Jesus Christ are most precious for they speak of the assurance that sins can be forgiven when they are forgiven by God. The woman to whom Jesus spoke these words was known by all who knew her to be a sinner. The Pharisees only had condemnation for the woman who was known as a woman of disrepute. However the woman herself recognised that Jesus was different to the hard hearts of those who represented religion.

She poured oil on to Jesus feet and wiped His feet with her hair. Would she have done this to the Pharisees? No she would not for their pride would not have let her do so. Jesus though was different. He saw her need to want to have her sins forgiven and He as God could forgive. Father in these days there are those who say they can forgive sins. Men who are called priests who hear confession of sins and say that they forgive sins.

What are you going to do with a system started by men and not supported by the Bible? Surely Father this is blasphemy? For who can forgive sins but God alone and not men who at the most are forgiven sinners and at worst unforgiven sinners. This prayer is asked in the name which is above all other names Jesus Christ that you shall be glorified in the Son. Amen.

The Forgiveness of Sins

In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace.

Ephesians 1:7

Heavenly Father how can I thank you enough for the redemption which is through the blood of your Son Jesus Christ. For you sent Him into the world to offer Himself as the one perfect sacrifice for sin.  No more offerings are needed for in the blood of Jesus is the forgiveness of sins for evermore. It is by grace alone that the sinner can be brought to repentance and the cleansing of the blood of Jesus.

O the blood, the precious blood which has made the atonement for sin. The blood of God the Son who loved lost, guilty and condemned sinners enough to take their guilt and die on the cross in their place so that through the cleansing of His own blood they could be reconciled with the holy God and brought into the banqueting house of His love.

For your glory Father this prayer is brought before you through your Son Jesus Christ so that you shall be glorified through the Son. Amen.

Resurrection

Touching the resurrection of the dead I am called in question by you this day.

Acts 24:21

Father your servant Paul was persecuted by the Jews because he preached the resurrection. Paul knew that Jesus had been raised from the dead because Jesus had spoken to Paul from heaven. Paul knew the scriptures which spoke of the resurrection and had been brought into contact with Jesus who is the resurrection and the life.

The resurrection confirms that Jesus is greater than all the powers of darkness. Father grant boldness of faith in the fire of the Holy Spirit so that intercessory prayer shall be made on the fact that Jesus is alive and through His name Satan and his powers of darkness shall be overcome wherever he interferes in human affairs.

This is asked of you Father through the victorious name of your Son Jesus Christ. Amen.

Redemption

Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father.

Galatians 1:4

Father in your Son Jesus Christ is a finality which confirms that His death on the cross was a complete offering. Although sin abounded, grace did more abound. No one else could make an offering for sin which would bring man into communion with God. Sin had done its worst in cutting man off from communion with God. Redemption, tough, what a wonderful word has paid the price for sin through the blood of Jesus Christ once offered. No more offerings needed so complete was His perfect offering of Himself. Father may in these evil days there be revelation which will bring the truth of what Jesus did on the cross into hearts which are being deceived by human thinking which refuses to accept that no more sacrifices are needed. This prayer is asked for your glory Father for it is made though your Son Jesus Christ. Amen.

Eternal Life

Death hath no more dominion over Him.

Romans 6:9

Father how wonderful it is to know that eternal life was the life which Jesus Christ revealed on the human plane. It is the same life and not a copy of it which is shown in our mortal flesh when we are born of God.

May there be made known that eternal life is not a gift from God for eternal life is the gift of God. Because of eternal life the energy and the power which were manifested in Jesus will be manifested in those who belong to Him. For do not the scriptures say ‘ye shall receive the power of the Holy Spirit’? Not power as a gift of the Holy Spirit but the power is the Holy Spirit. Father may this truth be revealed once more.

This is asked through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Prayer on regeneration

“Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.  For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.”

Philippians 2:12-13

Father my confidence is in Thyself as I know who thou art through thy Son. As I look to Jesus I find that the will of God agrees with my will every time. Will is the essential element in God’s creation of man.

Sin became the perverse disposition which entered into man.

By Thy grace regeneration in me became the source of will and is almighty.

How wonderful! How marvellous!

Truly I can say to thy glory “For it is God which worketh in me both to will and to do of His good pleasure.” Amen.

Prayer: 27 January 2020

The way to God.

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:  because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”

St. Matthew 7:13-14.

Lord Jesus Christ if we are going to live as your disciples we need to remember that all noble things are difficult. How we find the Christian life to be very difficult. However, the difficulty does not make us faint, rather it arouses us up to overcome.

This is because the redemption which is in Jesus Christ makes us marvel at the sovereign grace of God through the atonement of Jesus. How wonderful! How marvellous! To know that God works in us to will and to do of His good pleasure.

Yet it is our responsibility to work out that redemption in practical living. When we start on the basis of His redemption to do what you command O God. Then we shall find that we can do it. Thank you God that you do give difficult things for us to do.

In doing this we become through the many trials that by your grace you turn out many men and women with a strong family likeness to Jesus Christ.

Continue to do this in days of looking for a Christianity without the demands of the cross.

Lord Jesus Christ make your individual living stones who are built in you strong in thyself alone for your life to shine through us. Amen.

Prayer - 17 February 2021

“Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ.” Ephesians 4:13

Father God how you are looking for the whole human race to be put back into the relationship for which God designed this to be in.

For this is what the Lord Jesus Christ did in Redemption. It is the rehabilitation of the human race on Jesus Christ’s plan which brings the realisation of Jesus Christ in corporate life besides being in individual life.

May the body of Christ realise that it is not simply to develop an individual spiritual, life but to realise Jesus Christ so that the Body of Christ may be built up.

This is for your glory in Jesus Christ. Amen. “In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.” Isaiah 6:1

Lord God you have much to teach your often wayward and unyielding people. You often need to remove their friends in order to bring yourself in their place. This can lead to discouragement. The opportunity came yet was it taken? To take the opportunity needs to be able to see the Lord.

The vision of God depends on character. For it is character which determines revelation.

Before the Lord is seen there must be something which corresponds to God in the character. Until being born again this will not happen.

It is when the Kingdom of God becomes real that there is a willingness to pay the price and live up to the vision which God has for His people.

Amen.
